He never effs with the arrangement and performs every note, capturing the nuance of the original recording. I still always think of the original video where he is roaming the English countryside with suitcase in hand.

He started his career in the late 70's, considering major part of the singers start to have some problem with their vocal cords in their 40s, some in their 30s already, he is one of the rare singers. Yes. They kept playing this song when I was in labor with my daughter. It reminds me of her❤. She was born in 1988. We knew I’d have to have a c-section. They just left me in there in labor. Still, this song gives me all the feels.

he is only one of few that i know can sing exactly the same live as he does on his albums, George Michael, Andy Bell and Barry Gibb ( beegees) are the only ones i know that can sing live, with out any tricky sound editing.
I was there, it was a wonderful atmosphere and to be honest the location is impeccable just like his voice. I have been a big fan for over 25 years and I still can’t get enough of Simply Red and Mick’s beautiful voice. It truly is a gift

I was in a bar called Gatsby's in Anaheim cal,when the band announced they had a special guest doing a set...New capital one recording artist,Simply Red...I had never heard of them...They got up and played a 45 minute set...I was completely blown away with the vocals...Ran right out next day and bought his new release...been one of my favorites since his dayview...Amazing talant... absolutely captivating....
I saw him at Old Trafford, when we won the league after so many years. He's a red, Ran around with the cup. At Birmingham too. I'm into rock music. But appreciate appreciate good music❤
