      Very good, but I wish she would use a portrait view, and the other camera people too, We would get a much better perspective with a portrait view, after all the rocket is tall and skinny, so we need a tall and skinny view. 1. They would need a lot of new tripods that are designed for portrait mode.
      2. try uploading a portrait video to yt and look how it's handled.
      2.5: most people look at these videos from PC/Notebook not from their phone.

      @@clausmadsen6754 Just curious, which part will be so hard? Assuming air and temperature are dealt with (already solved for iss), the inhabitants would mostly face similar challenges to those encountered during the old sea-faring days. That mostly leaves deep space radiation and micro-meteoroids, to which the solution is fairly straightforward; just add protective mass. The only novelty would be orbital refueling, though that would likely be similar to docking manouvres.
      surving on mars for years upon years, in a desolate and hostile environment with large communication delays to earth, while keeping morale high does sound like one hell of a problem to tackle though.

    I'd be jumping and giggling every time I heard a launch like this, even if it woke me up in the night, like the artillery does on occasion. I was born on the anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing and am so proud to see that after all this time we're going back. Getting this vehicle to orbit and back in one piece, reliably, flight after flight will be such a huge achievement and open the way for things we can't imagine yet (in addition to the things we are imagining). After watching the flight yesterday, huddled next to my router, I realized it was 60 years to the day that I stood in front of my parents little Emerson TV and watched Al Shepard launch. My excitement with this adventure hasn't been this crazy strong since the lead up to the Moon landings. Great job to NASASpaceflight for the overall balanced coverage of the action.

    This is one of those moments where I will always remember where I will always remember where I was when it happened live. I was watching on my cell phone in the middle of a car wash lol. The awe I felt was a close second to watching Falcon Heavy's two boosters land synchronously for the first time. It's exceptionally exciting to think about all the milestones we still have ahead of us: Getting to orbit on a massive booster, landing said booster, orbital refueling, surviving re-entry, and landing on other heavenly bodies are all things that still pose tough engineering challenges. As impressive as this landing was, Starship is still in its most infantile stages of development.

    That was an amazing landing. Compared to the earlier ones, the landing approach looked to be a little slower and much more under control.

      Maybe it was just the clouds distorting the view but it looked like they did the flip higher up so they had more time to get straightened up and slowed down before landing. But yeah it looked way better than the other tests. To think this one landed so well and yet they _already_ have an even more upgraded version in the works.

    It’s just awesome to watch these videos! The success SpaceX has seen through its hard work and rapid prototype iterations is well deserved 👍 Thanks NSF for bringing such an amazing team of photographers, commentators and geekonauts to be our eyes and ears on the ground 🤘🚀

    This launch and landing is near perfect from almost every angle. All legs seemed to have locked in place, no strange abnormalities with the engines, looks like a nice smooth touchdown, the only thing was that little fire after landing but that is to be expected.
    Thank you all for staying out in the Texas heat to deliver these outstanding camera angles!

    • @IosafBennis
      @IosafBennis 3 роки тому

      It seemed to me that the legs have been updated so they no longer flip down from upside down stored position but instead are fixed in right orientation from beginning and now just extend downwards - solving the flip and lock issue they had with force of engines and drag etc.
