I think its a more common one (I'm in the states) but I have a noxgear running vest and I LOVE it. Its very bright and reflective with different settings and makes me feel very safe when I am running at 5 AM and it is not quite light out!
The Undress is my absolute favorite! I use it after every race to completely undress without waiting in the bathroom line. It allows me to take all the sweaty clothes (including my sports bra) and slip into comfy clothes.
I have a boot dryer off Amazon... Come in from a muddy trail run, take the trainers into the shower and wash all the mud off. Drop em on the boot dryer and they're ready to do again after an hour. Saves them getting smelly in the winter months waiting days for them to dry 😁
You are an absolute champ for making this video with a straight face. I was having a rough day in the office and this totally put me in a good mood. I didn't make it past the shwings but i'm sure the rest was great. I may get the shwings for my toddler!
Thank you, I thought I was losing my mind looking at this useless stuff. I also find it very telling as well that yours is the only comment that this channel hasn't liked.
Fair play Anna for sounding interested and positive for what is all complete tat. Why would anyone buy and wear a vest that only holds a phone and some keys? For the money you would be better off getting a proper entry level hydrations vest that at least gives you the option of holding water, gels, etc along with your phone and keys, or a flip belt which does the same thing but holds much more and you don't have the discomfort / additional heat from wearing a vest.
The Freetrain vest is definitely my go to! Don't know how I managed without it on my runs before it first came out 🙌 Love the concept, the perfect running accessory - easy access to my phone & so lightweight and comfortable 🙌
The knuckle lights look really good! I usually wear flashy armbands that allow for me to be seen, but doesn't do anything for my vision so will look into these for winter. As for my new go-to product, the super bouncy Enertor running insoles are life changing!!
Anna, not about this video, but i completed the Virtual GNR yesterday, and i have to say - a huuuge smile on my face when i heard your voice...and great words of wisdom nearer the end! Thanks for helping me complete my 5th half marathon! Keep up thr great work guys and girls! 👍👍👍🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
I love the bell! I nearly gave an old guy a heart attack recently because he didn't hear me coming! I've got an idea for a piece of running tat though... The Run Randomiser! A little device that you wear on your finger or wrist where you press a button and you get an arrow telling you to go either left, right or straight on. Crap, right?
I've tried the Boot Buddy today after a trail run, and I like it. It does a good job of cleaning my shoes, mind you, they weren't caked in mud (just standard winter splattering). Lookin' forward to a muddy trail in the future to really put it to test :).
Surely the glasses with a wing-mirror would need to be on the left-hand-side for the UK because you're meant to run on the side facing oncoming traffic when on a road with no pavements...? So traffic coming up behind you would be on the left of you. Or have I got the wrong idea about their intended use?
I'm sure the "arms" of the neck fan are firm and this might be uncomfortable, but you might be able to thread them under the straps of a vest or sports bra to anchor them for a run? Usually the breeze from the run in general is enough for me! Thanks for the video!
Always enjoy a bit of humor in these videos and certainly this did not disappoint! The running lights for the knuckles are nice (unfortunately like all flashlights, they will be stolen in any house that has kids)....speaking of kids, the Shwings are kind of a cute and fun addition for kids...IF they made them small enough for kids shoes. They remind me of the things we use to decorate our bicycles with as kids. The glasses was a close second for usefulness, but I need a prescription and am simply to vain to wear anything over my normal glasses.....I may be 53 but I’m not old enough to go the double glasses look! Good work Anna....thanks for another bit of fun!
I really like the vest idea, I’m getting tired of my arm band. Do you have any videos or advice for running during winter? I get snow here and I’m nervous to start running outside. Do you have safety tips, running shoes or any other ideas?
Some are really useful thank you, the free train vest is not ideal for all as has no way to adjust to your chest size, so if you are a bit chubby then it won’t be comfortable. Thanks for sharing !
I think the glasses are a pretty good idea! I am always worried someone is behind me when I am running with music, so could be pretty useful. However, on the other hand, I do not like running with glasses in general, feels strange on my face during a run..
Three things here that might be useful: the bottle strap, the shoes cleaner, and the towel with a strap. Not sure I'd use any of the others, but you sure tried your hardest to make me think I would!
My car has heated seats and I often put them on after a cold & wet parkrun. The Orange Mud cover/towel thing could keep me dry and save the battery. Also being wet on a heated seat, is not a nice feeling anyway.
Ahahahah!! I am going to buy the wings for my sister. I have never ran until a few months ago, my sister has always been running bit has had a baby recently. So we have a bet... we want to run a half marathon in october. Training hard for it. She is in Sweden, I am in Spain... it is a nice way to keep in touch. We train together from a distance. I am going to give her these wings on race day. Very nice channel... I have learned a lot watching your videos and laughed!!!
Poundland sometimes do some good stuff. A couple of years ago, they sold a belt-cum-bumbag with a pouch that expanded to hold a smartphone and a couple of other small items. Also an ultra-thin running hat (I usually overheat when wearing headgear while running, even in the coldest of temperatures), and other bits and pieces.
Good video 👍🏼 I have a free train, great priduct on the whole but since using a heart rate monitor, I find it messes with data & can be uncomfortable 👍🏼
The freetrain vest always appeara on my facebook, and i must say it has fantastic feed back from users. Not so about them lights especially if being used with near road traffic as i imagine it will end up dazzling drivers as they get flapped about
Interesting products! I use the Orange Mud towel and it works great, you are wearing it too high in the video. It works best down around your tummy. Great for the car seat to keep the sweat off too if you have had to drive to a location. I also use it before races to keep warm. Nipple patches are something most new runners never knew they needed 🔥
Who on earth thought the neck fan was a good idea!!! I can see the idea behind the running bell, but surly shouting a friendly, “excuse me, coming through on your left... thank you very much” is much less aggressive 🏃🏻♀️
The phone carrier - Chris at the excellent Here We Are Running channel uses one - an option. The Fan thing....JML.... ridiculous! I want one! Bottle band - mmm! Tri eye - oh come on! Yes, yes yes! "Say goodbye to neck strain nightmares!" Knuckle lights - I used the tiny bike lights - fits over 1 finger - when running in Bath 2 Tunnels Marathon - lightweight and cheap. Running Bell - often think I need something. A tall middle aged man suddenly passing a dog walking female does make them jump when on a quiet country lane. Shwings - "Can I be Frank?" "Can I still be Garth?" You know your Shwing ... Boot Buddy - Could be useful, directly post race. Orange.... wrap - what could possibly go wrong with a middle aged man wrapping it around himself at an event in a park filled with families and kids and pulling his shorts down. There's no chance of it falling off, me falling over or anything like that...😉 Boot Buddy is the best Orange Towel achieves a Silver medal. The JML product receives a special award if....and only if... it creates a 15minute informational featuring You and Rick plus a scientist (sic) in a White lab coat. Voiceover: "Say goodbye to hot head hysteria...." Joy!
I can safely say I won't be needing any of those things any time soon! I don't get the lights on the neck fan though. I would think anyone using one of those wouldn't want anyone else to see them! While I won't be buying a boot buddy (ever) I do believe that clean running shoes are happy running shoes. I wipe mine down with a damp rag after every run and I swear it helps them last longer. I don't do that for any of my other shoes though, just my running shoes :)
a gps watch was the best thing i never knew i needed; when i first started to run id drive from home and go for 5 k loop aprox and then go run it or sometimes id run as far as a could for 2 hours then take car out and retrace my route to see how far i had gone
Found a bunch of items I still don't think I need. Thanks for the video though, made me realize I'm probably fine with what I have. A zip up pocket on my shorts so my keys don't make as much noise really was life changing and about the most tech I really need. I deal with the phone app so I can track time. Maybe I'm just low tech. But if I needed to carry all this stuff, I'd just run with a backpack, which isn't really that big of a deal, but kind of defeats the purpose of all this stuff. Also, makes it nice to have a hands free source of water.
Thanks Andrea for watching. Yes, plenty of people with flat feet run - you can find supportive running shoes which will help this. Re plantar fasciitis, with any running injury we would always advise you to see a professional and check if it is safe to continue running. Hope this helps
I had a bell on my jogging stroller but I found that when I rang it, people tended to look behind them and block the path in confusion. It didn't work.
I'm just curious if the knuckles can get high impact and still works. Like if I have to punch an attacker at night I can see their face and punch with the knuckles
I like the idea of a neck fan because I sweat sooo much and live in a climate that gets super super warm especially in summer (so its so difficult to do long runs which is frustrating. However, I wish there was a better product than the fans around the neck. Can't they just invent a product to control the wind so it blows on you while you run without extra bulky equipment? LOL
All seems like a load of crap if you ask me! 😂 I’m sorry, but I can’t think of anyone who would go out with a running bell, wing mirror glasses, a glorified elastic band for your water bottle - as for that neck fan 😂 Great video and review though - love the enthusiasm as always 😊 👏
Shwing all day.. I’m 42 male married I’d wear em for the craic at a race 😂... Anna , with winter approaching any chance of doing a review on best waterproof / cold weather running gear head to toe?? Thanks 😊
For me the running vest - the rest over priced tat!!! Sorry. Knuckle lights with your swinging arms that will be dazzling and annoying for wearer & the people your approaching - head torch attached to waist & running armbands by AccuBuddy do the trick 😉
These products are mostly kind of lame.. Imagine running with all this stuff at once. You in your fanny pack phone holder with neck fans and car mirrors in your goggles while holding water in your hand. It's silly. It is unpractical. I would rather buy a vest you can put on weight to add resistance when you run. I mean who is going to wear dumb bell like that? Self consious? It's just dumb.
OMG, how many times did you have to stop recording just from laughing at some of this. The neck fan was the best entertainment I had all day!! And a free version of the "runner bell" is just to scrape your foot on the ground a few times as you approach. It get's people's attention every time.

Spi belt ::::: I am on my third and use it every day for phone on waist and keys/ gel if needed
That Bottle Band! I actually really need that. (Ordering it now. =)

Never seen so many useless items in one place before.
Thank you, I thought I was losing my mind looking at this useless stuff. I also find it very telling as well that yours is the only comment that this channel hasn't liked.
Happy to be of service! ;)
Exactly...
What you find useless others might find useful & if you don't like video just move on, why stop and bother to comment?
Quite flabbergasted really the "running" channel or the "selling out" channel, I know what this particular video indicates.......
I LOVE Anna. She’s fabulous!!
Started seeing a lot of the Freetrain vests in my local park a few months ago and decided to get one. I don’t run without it now. Great video Anna!
Thanks Tom. Glad you liked it (Anna)
Fair play Anna for sounding interested and positive for what is all complete tat. Why would anyone buy and wear a vest that only holds a phone and some keys? I love the QVC-y vibe of this video! Completely whacky and hilarious and so, so awesome! Because really, why not have a bit of fun with your sport!
Haha! Thanks. That’s what we were going for. Glad you enjoyed it
seen those freetrain vests pop up everywhere lately. First time I saw one I thought a guy in a bulletproof vest was coming at me!
If you live in Chicago, Detroit or L.A. a bullet proof vest may be a good idea.
The "unisex" comment about that vest made me laugh. Perhaps for more athletic-shaped women it might be, but it just would not work for me!
The Freetrain vest is definitely my go to! Don't know how I managed without it on my runs before it first came out 🙌 Love the concept, the perfect running accessory - easy access to my phone & so lightweight and comfortable 🙌
👌
Dear Anna you deserve a BAFTA simply for keeping a straight face through that presentation. Well done.
Haha! Thanks Kevin. I’ll get my posh frock ready for the ceremony (Anna)
Using the freetrain vest for 2 months now, really happy with it.
Did anyone else get a free train vest advert after Anna talked about the free train vest??
Spooky!
The Running Channel the are certainly paying attention to what I watch!!
the orange mud towel is great! i use it all the time. i have the same color.
Absolutely love my Freetrain vest. Must have for runners. Makes running with accessories so much easier 🙌
We liked it too ☺️
The knuckle lights look really good! I usually wear flashy armbands that allow for me to be seen, but doesn't do anything for my vision so will look into these for winter. As for my new go-to product, the super bouncy Enertor running insoles are life changing!!
Glad there was something useful in there for you Jessica! Thanks for sharing!
I love the Schwings! Brilliant idea! You said they don't actually make you run faster but i wonder. I think a scientific test is in order.
...you’re right! Let’s do it! Next Anna vs Rick?
Anna, not about this video, but i completed the Virtual GNR yesterday, and i have to say - a huuuge smile on my face when i heard your voice...and great words of wisdom nearer the end! Thanks for helping me complete my 5th half marathon! Keep up thr great work guys and girls! 👍👍👍🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️

Sound like it belongs on our list!
I'd buy that crap! Lol
You have a voice.
@@TheSiameseDreamer In my defence I did cough loudly or shout "excuse me" (I can't remember which) but he didn't hear me as he had headphones in.
@@SimonWilliamsTutor Then a little bell has even less chance of alerting them.
Thank you Running Channel I needed a good bit of fun. Now I have gift ideas for my run club members. Anna, you did a great job selling the products.
Awesome! Thanks for watching

Boot Buddy, Wing Mirror Glasses and Knuckle Lights all going on my Wish List. Thank you Anna!.
No worries! Glad you liked them!
I've been using the Orange Mudd wrap for years, it is the best!!
We really liked it 👌 game changer for getting changed after a race
I agree!!
The knuckle lights are awesome. Been using them in the early mornings. The rest of the stuff, not so much.
Taking a brake at work, and spending the time with Anna... Always nice ;-)
Thanks for watching 🙌
It's always nice watching Anna. TBH I'm surprised she's not a TV presenter.
@@SimonWilliamsTutor She's a YT presenter. Much bigger ! :-)
🙌

over the years all my running buddies have received one as a birthday or Christmas gift, they come in fun colors also.
Which one?
The boot buddy. Not just for running trainers but for hiking boots. Our walk leader is a mudlark, he can find boggy paths even in a heatwave.
Exactly!
Would love a video on personal running alarms. I run early in the morning and often in the dark.
Bottle bands are pretty useful - used to be 1 euro from Decathlon a couple of years ago... but 6 quid?!?
These are the things you get for christmas from your friends that don't run... 😁
The fan could help you cool down, while walking or resting AFTER completing a run. 😁
Good point!
Some are really useful thank you, the free train vest is not ideal for all as has no way to adjust to your chest size, so if you are a bit chubby then it won’t be comfortable. Thanks for sharing !
Thanks for watching Oscar 😊
I just say hello as I'm coming up behind people, but that bell is a great alternative for wearing a bear bell hiking.
I've got the Freetrain vest and like it very much - Keep up the good work love watching the video output from this channel.
Thanks! We liked the FreeTrain vest too
Hahaha I feel like I’ve tuned into QVC 😂❤️

I think the glasses are a pretty good idea! I am always worried someone is behind me when I am running with music, so could be pretty useful. However, on the other hand, I do not like running with glasses in general, feels strange on my face during a run..

I like the vest, best, Ps. There 3 items essential for my training, sleep, water and listening to Anna advice.
The LED lights on the fan had me laughing. Truly fashionable!
And safety first too! 👷
That fan though 😂
Very funny and wacky video...I need to go get myself some shwings and a can of redbull and annoy all the people in my local park haha!
Hope you had fun making this vid as I did watching it. You should do an episode with Anna testing them all out at the same time!
Hahaha. Id imagine she'd look like the 'one man band' guy from Marry Poppins, running down the street.

Good thinking
Interesting products! I use the Orange Mud towel and it works great, you are wearing it too high in the video. It works best down around your tummy. Love the bell!
Haha thanks! We have a whole video about it too ua-cam.com/video/gfUHK76Cdso/v-deo.html
I think you were holding the bottle band the wrong way around. I think the bottle should be against your palm and not against the back of your hand.
How many km/ miles do you guys run a month on average?
It really depends who and what they’re training for
Think I might get the free train vest. Can you guys recommended a bag to wear for running?
What kind of bag are you after?
Sorry didnt realise you had responded. Mostly for urban running to carry a change of clothes.
Entertaining. Loved the video.

It's just dumb.
just don't then. easy.
Some great ideas there.
sometimes I need to have to have 2 small bottles of water and isotonic , while my 25 km running. Always a problem what to do if I want my hands free
Running vest. Ultimate direction has vests with 2 hands free chest bottles and the bladder in back. They're super comfy and lightweight.
I never knew.....after watching I still don't know lol crazy video, taking a bung or what??
Question Anna, does the tongue piercing help with running as well? A bit of weight training while out on a run ? 😂
OMG, how many times did you have to stop recording just from laughing at some of this. The neck fan was the best entertainment I had all day!! And a free version of the "runner bell" is just to scrape your foot on the ground a few times as you approach. It get's people's attention every time.
😂😂😂 quite a few (Anna)
Louis Green - fake a cough, too. I do the hello thing.
