Nice video. The lack of micro adjustments is really a bummer and hard to accept at this price point. Aqua Terra (38mm or 41mm) was on my shortlist, but this along with the difficulty of adjusting the bracelet yourself (I heard the srews sit quite tight) made me go a different direction. I hope they fix this in the future, because the case and dial are just beautiful!
I think they chose to do no micro-adjustment to keep the clasp streamlined. The screws were not tight for me, but they are extremely tiny and difficult to grasp. I spent so much time trying to get the screws back into the right position to screw them in. Took me one hour to remove the extra links.
Regarding the material of the markers, the issue isn't about whether or not omega uses rodium as the coating material, it's about why is it coated? Watches at this price point should have the markers and hands as 100% made of a premium material, and not coated. In the past omega sets the markers and hands as full 18k white gold, not gold plated on a metal material.
Rhodium is actually very expensive, and difficult to manipulate. It would be cost-prohibitive to have the hands and hour markers to be made of pure solid Rhodium. Hence, they need to be coated. My (Rolex) AD confirmed to me that Rhodium is a valid material for high-end pieces.
Was going to say, Rhodium is much more valuable than gold. Like $19k per ounce for rhodium va $2k per ounce for gold. I’m actually picking up my Terracotta soon and can’t be more happy! Been trying to find one since they came out, but finally an Omega boutique I’m visiting while work travelling has it for me. Love the review!
If you own a few pateks then omegas should be nothing to you in price. You can buy it for fun, just like if a person owns a few rolex, they can buy oris, Hamilton, longines, tag for fun

Don't work out with weights, while wearing a metal watch. if you sprain your wrist and your wrist swells, you are gonna have to wait for the firefighters to come and use the jaws of life to cut that metal band off your wrist. use a plastic band or nato for working out / lifting weights, not metal.

Enjoyed the review and updates on the fitness. I find that i cannot skip animal based protein as I get older.

Beautiful watch. I just purchased my first Omega, an old 2265.80 and love the dial. Wear mostly Rolexes and Patek but a few Omegas aren’t wrong.
