So at the end of this ‘restructuring’ the debts will be reduced by more than half. Which means, of course, lots of other people aren’t going to get paid what they are owed.
So what happens to my bike, at dealer for 2 month saying they can’t figure out what the problem is and that KTM has to help them fix it. ..but they can never seem to get help. This just goes on and on. Now I feel I will never get my bike back. 2023 1290 sas dies after starting, starts every time, dies 5 secs later. They have already changed the fuel, filter, battery, and fuel injectors for some reason. Still does the same thing. I’m worried it’ll never get solved with the problems at KTM
The bikes are cool, management less hopefully the fine bikes will stay ….. i am enjoying these things for maybe 25 years … i got one of the first dukes after the restart years ago …… iyess there are some issues so what the joy of the bikes is great .. the price is to much … change that and more people love this stuff We will see can i ride my bike still next year or do i put it in the museum 😊
This may be wishful thinking thinking since the customer‘s trust in the company, its product reliability and customer service has been lost. Only buying „made in Japan“, I would not touch any of the many unsold motorbikes, even if offered for free 😵💫😷
KTM should change their motto "Ready To Repair" to something better.
Quote: "......Pierer's unwavering leadership...." .... what... the same 'leadership' that has taken them over a financial cliff ?
Consumers.ask if their bikes are actually going to be fixed instead of blaming the customer for the bad quality of the bike.

The bikes aren’t selling because there is a huge reliability issues particularly the cheese camshafts in the 790s.

They have overreached themselves and should’ve focused on making their bikes more reliable and improving their reputation as a reliable brand
Greed killed them
Greedy
This KTM announcement has stopped me updating my 2016 SA

Mhe?
They will survive, and maybe even come out of this crisis stronger!
