First of all...Congratulations to the Meyers family!! AND most importantly, our neighbor then and dear friend to this day, Linda, not only cheered me on and caught our daughter, but also went on to become a pioneer in the home birth midwifery movement. Honestly if that was my building and I came across this scene I very possibly would say that, but in an obviously joking manner. Walk in, take in the tableau, remark mildly, "Well, this isn't what the lobby is for." I assume I get this from my father, a surgeon who once greeted a patient with a tree branch through his torso by asking him, "So, what seems to be the problem today?" [Tree branch guy was fine.]

For days, probably, but I'd much rather have a typical labour than another precipitous one. With my first, I was calm, never got above speaking volume, just 8 hours of intense, silent back labour. This last baby was three hours from pre-labour to birth and I HATED it. It was scary, and way more painful, despite the baby being one lb smaller.

Congrats to the entire family & wish you all the best!
"THIS ISENT WHAT THE LOBBY IS FOR " LOL I WISH SOMEONE WOULD SAY THAT!
No Name opps I tell you sometimes just typing so fast you forget to check b4 hitting send thanks for the correction.
Honestly if that was my building and I came across this scene I very possibly would say that, but in an obviously joking manner. Walk in, take in the tableau, remark mildly, "Well, this isn't what the lobby is for."
I assume I get this from my father, a surgeon who once greeted a patient with a tree branch through his torso by asking him, "So, what seems to be the problem today?" [Tree branch guy was fine.]
I wish someone knew how to spell isn't 😁
you and me both lol
haha, your dad seems like a very cool Surgeon! and yes in a joking manner would be fine, lets just hope whoever is having the baby has a sense of humor lol
Congratulations to you and your family. I’m bawling my eyes out. This is the single best birth story I’ve ever heard. What a freakin rock star you and your wife are. She is my hero forever!
Completely teared up over the middle name. The whole video was great. Laughed and cried.

The story of Axel, “The Lobby Baby” never gets old!!
Seth is definitely my favorite!
❤️
in the span of 10 minutes you made me laugh, you made me feel grateful, you made me cry, you made me think. after this video i have absolutely a new respect to you , it's so kind to see someone actually pointing out and appreciating kindness.
Oh ny! Seth is so sweet-all excited and falling over his words. He's just bursting to tell us all about it.
It's called precipitous delivery and yes, it'll probably keep happening faster and faster. Awesome story, congratulations on your growing family
Kimberly Gonzales it sure beats being in labor for days
For days, probably, but I'd much rather have a typical labour than another precipitous one. With my first, I was calm, never got above speaking volume, just 8 hours of intense, silent back labour. This last baby was three hours from pre-labour to birth and I HATED it. It was scary, and way more painful, despite the baby being one lb smaller.
I had our first daughter in 25 minutes and the second in 9 minutes. Our doc anymore would just fall out lol
Your wife is blessed with you and you are blessed with her. Please don't ever forget that in this hustle and bustle world. Congratulations on your new son.
