- Divine Dynamo Flamefrit finally launched on Steam! This was originally an IP featured in Card-En-Ciel that Inti Creates made into a real game. Here's what I think

Oh shit, I didn't realize this is a budget game. Tbh, that makes it a little more likely that I'll pick it up sooner rather than later.
Short but sweet review.
One minor thing I'd like to point out though is that the reason the cooldown is probably longer when you roll through enemies is that you can counterattack immediately afterwards. The counter shoots out a slash wave too, which both it and the counter itself are enhanced by the charge attack.
Really hope for a more fleshed out Flamefrit 2
@@thefriendlydragon4811 that’s crazy, I never even found that out, I don’t know how I played so much without doing that. I just had to boot up the game to test it 😭
I really wish they had incentivized the roll/dodge more like with the knight enemies. there was definitely a lot of room for more engagement with the game’s mechanics than they really used.
maybe flamefrit 2 will do better if it happens
Never heard of these games, adding them to my wantlist
ah yes
the game that steam didn't want to release
thought it would compete too hard with deadlock
You had me at old cheesy fantasy anime tropes, but kept me with the clean art style and music - Might have to check this one out. Great watch man!
ayy thanks man!
This game really reminds me of those old 90's anime series of Sunrise like Mashin Hero Wataru. Even the character design and game plot also reflects that concept, too.
Already bought it with launching sale discount 💚
Inti creates makes such great games. I love their stuff
For anyone wondering the review doesn't start until 3:17 😵💫😵💫😵💫
@@Oozium haha, so sorry about that, I thought it would be funny to rag on the release a little bit, as well as for documentation purposes. I should have been more mindful of how much of the video it took up
I gamed the Steam Refund system with this one because I did one playthrough, finished it in about 90 minutes and got my refund. Short and sweet, but hey... Steam Sales are coming up.
I wonder if that's why they didn't want to release it on Steam... It's a charming little game, and being a mecha fan I was WAY more interested in this than Card-En-Ciel (which I didn't get), but I needed to save. Oh well.
Just get to the review!
Praying for Gram/Shadonir dlc
I played it before everyone became I imported card lmao
Also I should mention that the flamefrit preorder bonus only applies to steam not switch
