What is it about Lo-Fi that is so intriguing in your estimation? I'm not a "beat" guy. In fact, that beat crap all sounds the same to me. I'm a rocker-psychedelic guy not too far away from what you yourself produce...rock and roll. Real music. If you want lo-fi go get a cassette recorder and record that way. HA!
@Uniblab8 there’s different types of lofi. Some I like, some I don’t. I consider Radiohead to be a type of LoFi that I like. I also like a lot of Beck stuff, even though his newer songs have a nice commercial polish to them, he has kept some elements of lofi. Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska is pretty LoFi and it’s an incredible album.
But LoFi beats and grooves, sound cool for a bit but I don’t think I could listen to it very long. I think a lot of people like to use it as background music.
What I think is cool about lofi is the art in making it still sound good. Audio interfaces and digital recordings are so clean and free of imperfections, it’s nice to add some character to them. Degrade the audio a bit but still make sound good without being to clean.
I actually bought a cassette recorder recently. I want to try recording some stuff to it. Lol.
@@AudioTechTV Ha me too with the cassette recorder. I get your point. I'm such a 60s psychedelic guy that maybe I should add some lo-fi to my stuff. I remember recording in the 890s when I would be able to work with my "imperfections" into the song itself. OK, I get it. I was a bit too general in my assessment. It's all personal preference anyway in how I want my sound. Your vids really give me tons of tools.

Hi, don't know if this the place to ask, but, have you made or will you make a video showing how to make Arturia's Keylab essential mk3 work with waveform, I bought waveform pro on your recommendation from one of your videos but I can't find anywhere how to get the Keylab to work with it. Arturia don't answer emails, nor do traction, so I'm hoping you will, or at least point me somewhere I can get help. I'm a complete newcomer to recording and I'm stuck at the first hurdle so any help from anyone appreciated, thanks
Are you just trying to get the keys to work? Or trying to get the daw controlling to work too? I have a video showing how to setup a midi keyboard which is pretty easy and straight forward to just get the keys to work.

Hello. I don't want to get into any kind of public debate or argument over this. And i'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt and believe that this is some kind of one off glitch, or even possibly a mistake at my end. But i still don't think it can hurt if people use an e-mail alias service, or maybe just a spare old e-mail address if they have one. If you are as genuine as you act then that shouldn't matter to you as long as you are doing your thing. And if the mistake is mine then i apologise, but i really don't have the time or energy to get into this any more right now.@@MarkoKarja_SlapAsSound
@BaddBadger thank you so much for rising this topic. Thanks to your comment I found a mistake in my email sequence. There should have been a delay between the 9 freebies, but somehow there was not. It was definitely an oversight on my part. I am very sorry that you and so many of my subscribers received 8 emails from me in one day.
So this is my lesson. Thanks again for raising this topic.
O.K., ENOUGH ALREADY!!! Between your apologies and explanation on both here and my own UA-cam channel, e-mail notifications about those messages, multiple direct e-mails from you going over and over the technical details, and the bulk e-mail explaining ''an issue raised by a valued customer'' i have now been spammed by you twice as much as i ever was! Not to mention that the ''glitch'' that sent me 8 or 9 e-mails at once happened exactly while i was clearing out the previous days 8 or 9 e-mails from you (which sound like they were intentional, just so long as there was an hour or 2 between each).

I don't think it's your system that's a problem, it's you. We all make mistakes, but FFS learn when to chill the fuck out! I am not your friend (it's creepy when you call strangers that in multiple unwanted e-mails that by the way), i certainly don't feel valued, i just want you to delete my fucking e-mail and leave me the fuck alone.
