Oh, and Paducah, KY is a wonderful city to visit- the people who live there are so warm and welcoming and this show is very important to the economy of Paducah. Just remember to make your hotel reservations a year ahead of time if staying in/around/close to Paducah is important. On my trips there we stayed about 30 minutes away but there are cities right across the river, too.

I’m hoping to get back to Paducah one of these years. I thunk it was 2009 the last time I was able to go. Thank heavens I was lucky to get to a,couple,other AQS show locations before Covid hut - Charleston, SC and quite a few years at AQS Lancaster, PA. I was overjoyed to learn that AQS will be back,in Lancaster, PA in 5(3 Fall if 2024! I’m saving my Lenny’s (and more!) till then. Love those t-shirts that Pam and Erica are wearing. It sure would be so great if these ladies could get to Lancaster next year!

Make sure when rough cutting, tell quilters to add 1/2" total. (Pam said 1/4")

I tend to over it a bit more too. But recently I made a giant mistake and forgot about the seam allowances and cut my fabric strips exactly to size for the HST die. I very, very carefully placed my fabric over the cutting area if about a wisp of fabric over - I did get perfect HST but I will never do that again😄😄😄😄😄. I will make sure I pay attention better to my notes!!!!!

Would like to see more cutting instructions for yardage not just scraps

Cutting yardage is really easier than scraps - you just need to cu tWOF strips the size needed, then fan-fold or layer - strips can be cut (shortened) to fit whatever die you are using. I even cut fat quarter strips WOF.
