I LOVE this sketch! So many great lines..."I'm 14 and I love to play those damn video games!"..."That fellow teen will be the death of me!"...and of course, with a summer job I "can buy that special rock t-shirt and album I want so damn much!" LOL!!!
He was really the best actor on Mr. Show. Im a huge David Cross fan but Bob really put so much effort into this show. He knocks every single scene out of the park.
This sketch, like most Mr. Show sketches, is genius. This is maybe the 5th time I'm watching it in the last few days, though I could watch it 24 more times and it wouldn't get tired.
I met Tom Kenny at Joe's All-American in Pasadena after my band had played. He was really nice. Came back the next night too! We hung out and had a few beers together. Smart guy. Big music fan. We talked about WC Fields and other stuff.
Bob's character voices are great on this and the rest of Mr. Show. I know he's not starving for work but he would be a great voice actor for animated series and video games I think.
He has done animated voice work. I remember back in college I flipped to Cartoon Network and that Billy and Mandy show was on and you could tell it was Bob doing the voice of the Boogey Man. He hasn't done nearly as much voice work as Tom Kenny though. I was just watching Mission Hill because I loved that show and my God, Tom does almost every voice other than the main characters. (Although I guess Wally was a main character so he did one of those too.)
David Cross is who he is yelling at to get out here. He is in the second part of this sketch which is about how slackers are discriminated against. Which is just as great as the first part of the sketch
I’m seeing the young people... but I’m not seeing their companions
Two young people have been found. But not their companions.
@@sirsoulbrother I heard they found one of each.
Bob pretending to be an old man who’s pretending to be a teen is one of my favorite concepts ever
I just love it so damn much
"Hi, I'm Kenny...I'm 14 years old, and I love to play those damn video games!"
By far the funniest part
Literally one of my favorite lines ever. Genius.
When I first heard this, i laughed so hard, I spilled my bong.
Bob Odenkirk has a full head of hair. So he puts on an ill fitting bald cap to play this middle aged guy who then puts on a wig to play a teenager
Wigception
I LOVE this sketch! So many great lines..."I'm 14 and I love to play those damn video games!"..."That fellow teen will be the death of me!"...and of course, with a summer job I "can buy that special rock t-shirt and album I want so damn much!"
LOL!!!
“ Greg god dammit get outta here”

I love the formal handshakes instead of high-fiving.
@@glamorousglue303 it’s totally grundgeafied
@@oldironsides4107 15 years after I made this comment and I still think about this sketch regularly
This is exactly what it was like being a teenager in the 90s
This sketch is totally grundgefied
The fact that hes 14 and has a full beard is what makes it so awesome.
"No, no, Ken. That was the Beatles!"
"What? Well, what did I say? Oh, who cares?"
Craig, GAAAWWDAMNIT GET OUT HERE
one of my favorite Mr Show lines. Sometimes it's ALL in the delivery! 🤣
The fact that they all shake hands and not give high fives or fistbumps just sends me lol.
"We got together an created a progrum..."
The old timey pronunciation is on point!
"...and the Nazis had that song Eight Days a Week"
He was really the best actor on Mr. Show. Im a huge David Cross fan but Bob really put so much effort into this show. He knocks every single scene out of the park.
He’s finally getting the recognition he deserves as an actor
Best rage scream in the biz.
I always did like David more during my first viewing. But after rewatching these years later I kinda prefer Bob. Tom and Jay are always funny too lol
@@justinkennedy3004if you read his memoir you find out he got it from his deadbeat dad.
Odenkirk yelling *goddammit* is classic
"NO YOU CAN'T YOU SUCK AND YOU'RE WASTING MY TIME!"
SHUT UP HONEY I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS NOW YOU HAVE TO SUPPORT ME
AND YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE? GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!
When it comes to fake beards, mustaches, eyebrows, moles, or anything on the head, Bob Odenkirk rocked that shit better than anyone!
i love how Bob's "goddamnit get out here" becomes, through yelling, "GODDAMNIT GE OU HEA"
toooooootally grungified
that fellow teen will be the death of me!
I love Bob's voice in this skit!
The voice is definitely affected by the mustache cuz he can't move his upper lip!
"......god damn it get out eeeehhhhh!"
Odenkirk is a fuckin' genius.
This sketch, like most Mr. Show sketches, is genius. This is maybe the 5th time I'm watching it in the last few days, though I could watch it 24 more times and it wouldn't get tired.
I’ve seen this episode/sketch sooo many times, first time I ever noticed Bob’s wig fall off @ 0:52...😂😂
"Straighten that camera out"
Here I am, slackin' off again. Slackity, slack, slack.
i love how his wig falls off during his cartwheel hahaha.
Bobs barely concealed rage and bitterness is hilarious
"...Yeah, plus I can buy that special rock t-shirt and album I want s'damn much"
I love it when SpongeBob and Saul fans find Mr. Show for the first time. 😅
I met Tom Kenny at Joe's All-American in Pasadena after my band had played. He was really nice. Came back the next night too! We hung out and had a few beers together. Smart guy. Big music fan. We talked about WC Fields and other stuff.
"That fellow teen is going to be the death of me."
Nine people were fellow teens that will be the death of us.
This was one of my favorites, especially Bob in this one we get to see him do what he does best.
That tone of his, the "hardass" tone, it's just perfect.
2:32 ICONIC YELL
The reaction from John Ennis telling him to calm down and pointing to the camera had me on the floor.
Someone make a montage of Bob yelling, please.

Bob's scraggly voice and awful beard are just too much. So fucking funny.
I can finally buy that rock T-shirt I want so damn much
I never noticed when Bob did the cartwheel you can absolutely see his wig fall off
Bob's energy in infectious
Greg GODAMMIT GET OUTEEERRE.
I love that the sketch shows that problem is not the kids. It’s out of touch people who also lack self awareness.
No. It is the children who are wrong. 🤔
You think he would have shaved the beard to play a kid. What a clueless character. I love Odenkirk. He's great at being at a conservatie hardass.
This skit is totally Grungafied.
"And the Nazis had that song 'Eight Days A Week." "Oh no, Ken, that was the Beatles!"
That fellow teen will be the death of me!
Totally grungified.
i just watch that one part over and over.
This was deeply unsettling on many levels.
"Love you every day, girl
Always on my mind
One thing I can say, girl
Love you all the time!"

You comment made me spit out my coffee...good work, sir!
Bob is so good in Breaking Bad
I love this bit so damn much.
"STRAIGHTEN THAT CAMERA OUT!!"
CRAIG GOD DAMMIT GET OUT HERRR 🤣🤣🤣
I just love to play those damn video games
Bob is the best
It would tickle me pink to have Bob and John Cleese have a sketch together.
I finally got that special rock T-shirt and album I wanted so damn much!
"Straight that camera out" hahahaha!
Bob is priceless
yes, that's the part that gets me, and the reason and looks this sketch up on UA-cam. Bob is fucking hilarious
hahaha i love to play those damn video games
"I tell you, this generation is worse than the hippies and the flappers and the Nazi's combined."
I love that line so much

Bob was born to yell
wicked drum fills
"it's going to be totally grunge-ified"
Bob doing the cartwheel and his wig falls off...
Grungified haha 😂
I was on the 18th hole!
“That fellow teen will be the death of me”….
Hello there fellow teenagers
Ever notice that Bob, a guy with hair, wears a bald wig over his hair, and that David, a bald guy, wears a wig?
Would love to see David Cross in this skit; but still, so friggin funny.
David Cross is who he is yelling at to get out here. He is in the second part of this sketch which is about how slackers are discriminated against. Which is just as great as the first part of the sketch
To be fair 8 days a week really was a great song by the nazis
"Especially for old foagies like us"
Yes, you have nailed the funniest part of that sketch.
"Straighten that camera out!"
I don't understand how Bob Odenkirk is that funny...
5 people are not grungafied.
Me too, and I'm 44... Still hasn't ended!
Bob looks a little like Howard Wollowitz from The Big Bang Theory in this sketch.
magic tricks in the park! awesome
Craig GOD DAMMIT GET OUT HERE!
14 and has a full beard 😂😂🤣🤣
the wig coming off 😅
LMAO Kenny
It's kinda extra funny that the audio isn't properly synced up on this video.

Dan Morris it surely is
Why'd you cut it off?

hahahahaa. So much.
Hey, I can one up Gen X! I'm worse than the hippies, the flappers, the nazis, AND THEM COMBINED!

Robert Evans.
