The order of Legendy Polskie is: Smok, Twardowsky, Twardowsky 2.0, Bazyliszek and Jaga :) (there are some Easter eggs that come from previous parts, like here the radio's model is named after Twardowsky) :) Legendy Polskie are based on Polish legends and folklore but it's placed in contemporary world.
Bazyliszek is a basilisk, a monster that turned people into stone and got defeated by a shoemaker that used a mirror.
I wish they made more of those films
Thanks for watching ☺
Allegro produced short films based on Polish legends. These are comedic modern versions of these legends. To understand this, you need to read the legends in the wiki. Find the entries: Bazyliszek - Basilisk, Pan Twardowski - Twardowski, Baba Jaga - Baba Yaga, Smok Wawelski - Wawel Dragon.
Thanks 😊
Greetings from Poland🤗😉👍
Hello there!
A word of explanation, because I think it's not possible for non-Poles to get this one without delving really deep into the Polish culture: Carp in a bathtub used to be a Christmas tradition in Poland (or perhaps it still happens somewhere in the country). Carp is the fish served traditionally during the Christmas Eve in Poland. We used to fish for them ourselves or buy them alive in local shops. In order to keep them as fresh as possible we would let them swim in our bathtubs until the very last moment. You can imagine how many "logistical" issues it would create.
Thanks for the insights
Polish legends are a very difficult ground. Thank you for your courage to face it all. This is basically a comedy series, but then again, it is dark.
* in my personal opinion "Jaga" is the best of the series.
Thank you 😊
Ładnie po Polsku dwa słowa.sic.!
Thanks for watching
Boguś (or Bogusław, Boguś is a short) Kołodziej is a reference to the Piast dynasty; the first known rulers of Poland. Piast Kołodziej (Latin: Past Ckosisconis, Pazt filius Chosisconisu) is the legendary progenitor of the Piast dynasty.
The rune on Boguś's hand is Thurisaz (the Durisaz rune); it was used to ward off malevolent beings and to provide protection to the wearer of the rune
The thurisaz rune symbolizes protection and strength. The word “thurisaz” comes from the Old Norse word meaning “thorn,” and the rune is said to represent the power of Thor, the Norse god of thunder.
EDIT:
That old car is "Polonez" made by FSO (the company doesn't exist anymore). I don't know which model, but I think it is like from the late '80 or early '90.
Thanks for watching ☺
