  • Welcome to the Trick Shift Garage! In this video, we’ll show you how to clean your MAF sensor on our 2015 Silverado, this procedure can also apply to most GM trucks & SUVs (2014-2019’s) that have the 5.3 Liter engine, such as the Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, and Yukon. It’s a straightforward process that will let your engine run better and smoother than before cleaning it. This procedure can also clear up trouble codes you may be having but if it doesn’t, your MAF sensor is probably due to be replaced completely. Luckily, the process to replace the MAF sensor is exactly the same, just install the new one and your golden! Thank you for watching! If you have any questions, please let us know in the comments!

Hey man I appreciate the effort, I keep coming back to your Altima videos. Can you tell me how to remove the silver trim that covers the CVT transmission? Thanks a lot

Thanks for watching! We're glad to hear you enjoying our videos! When you say silver trim do you mean like a heat shield or maybe the transmission pan on the bottom?
