I've had the Cloudsurfer 7 for a few months and love them, I have just received the Cloud Eclipse and am really looking forward to trying them out

I truly enjoy your reviews! I wish that I would have watched your review before I bought my 1080 V13s. After running in them for 3 weeks and watching your review, it is clear that they are not the right shoes for me (way too soft!), but now that I have been running in the Cloudsurfer for the past 2 weeks, I believe that I found the correct training shoe for me. I absolutely love the Cloudsurfer!

NB for sure. I always thought On was gimicky with the holes in the midsole.

I have always had durability issues with NB shoes.
I have the Cloudsurfer 7 and the SC Trainer and have done about 200 km in both; and the SC Trainer is severly worn. Almost worn out. But the Cloudsurfer still holds up.
I've had other NB shoes; and maybe it's the way I drag my feet while running, but they get worn out faster than other brands.
I like the Cloudsurfer, but it's not a go-fast shoe for me.
    And it does squeek....

I have both as well. The SC Trainer (180 miles) outsole has horrible durability and I’m now wearing out the FuelCell.
My Cloudsurfers (100 miles) are holding up great despite minimal outsole coverage. For the squeaking, cut a long, thin strip of sandpaper and floss the holes. The sheen finish on the Helion foam in the inside of the holes is what causes the squeaking. Got rid of my squeaking.

I am running w/ the triumph 20 for these needs.., I do have the 1080 v12 perms frost for my winter running .., and I got them for a great price.. less than $80 USD.

Good video comparison. I bought the On Cloudsurfer a few weeks ago based on Kieran's previous recommendation and I fully agree with him in the early reviews and here in this video. Now I'm looking forward to what you Guys think of the new On CloudEclipse.

The speedboard on ghe eclipse is barely a speedboard. They’re under all that midsole foam so they don’t add firmness to the cloudtec phase. Just know that the drop difference between the surfer and eclipse makes them a night and day shoes.

I preferred the 1080 v11 over my new 1080 v13. The 11th was so comfortable, versatile and actually a fast shoes like the Gel-Nimbus 24 was for me last year. The 13th is low weight (what is great) bit in the end it is not different from a Gel-Nimbus 25 : both are for very slow running. Faster runs both Nimbus and 1080 are either too clunky ,bulky and very unstable heel (v13 ) .
This got me scared about the next More v5 ... two shoes from NB that are jusr cushioning without any real versatility.

Great comparison reviews. I wonder what your views would be if going in you did not know what the weight/stack & price of each shoe was.

Regarding the fit I found the Cloudsurfer 7 a bit short and 1080V13 a bit long.. Went TTS in the Cloudsurfer 7 and half a size down in the 1080V13..

Thank you for a great comparison review! I just did my first run in the NB 1080 V13 and love it for the touch of its midsole softness and the level of bounce. Used to run in 1080V10 but its midsole was dull so I switched to Asics Novablast 2 and later replaced it by the Novablast 3 which didn't work for me. Which one of these do you think is better; On Cloudsurfer 7 or On Cloudswift 3? I am looking forward to try one of them.

I’m confused with NB size. When I look on sites it says to get my usual 27.5cm length it’s a half size bigger in NB so 9 rather than 8.5 in other brands? Not sure if that’s correct?

Which shoes last longer? I have the 1080v12 and I’m a delivery driver walking 10 miles a day and 6 days a week and after 5 months they’re losing grip and starting to rip a little but it’s still really comfortable lol I’m looking for something that will last longer but as comfy as the 1080v12

Thanks for the review. So if you had to either one of these or the Superblast what would you go for?

Sounds like the Novablast 4 might sit squarely between these two…if not slightly above.

Ordered a pair of these after having 3 of the previous editions! V13 is shockingly bad! Footbed has dreadful flat spots and got blisters after 20km! I’m not the only one to suffer read honest reviews on NB site. Honestly you must be getting paid to praise this shoe! Worst version yet and respect for your channel gone! Be honest dude
