Nice review, really helpful, but background music it's too loud almost ruined the video.
As i am waiting for my G14 (2022) to be repaired I got myself a used i5 7300U, 8gb/256gb, 1080p, got it only for 200$
This laptop is actually really really good for business laptop especially for the price I got.
At least I have a backup laptop for business now haha

There must be said one thing, 6 cell battery can last 19 hours, and if U need gaming, you can buy external graphic card, that can handle crisis in full resolution 200 fps :) , just connect it to the thunderbolt connector that is on left side of laptop (i know it's not mobile, but if I play I play at home, so for me it is not a problem, and in the era of superportable laptops with only one or two USB C ports, this one in 12" has got full size USB ethernet and HDMI, so for engineer or technician it's much better than macbook or othe ousb c only stuff.
I do own one with Touch panel (it's iPS so better colours) with fingerprint and NFC, 6 cell battery i7 and i have added SAMSUNG EVO 960 PRO PCI Express NVME M2 ssd, that is freaking fast (standard SSD's has got max 150 MB/s the NVME EVO PRO has got 3GB/s..... so everything gets really mad fast, and DDR 4 16GB is just fine for compiling software and other stuff. I'm happy with it.
I am buying a used laptop of this model at half price. battery life and performance is pretty good.. it's been used by a company for around 3 yrs.. is it worth buying?
Maybe, depending on the price. One big thing I would check for is the battery life, as these tend to degrade over time.

Nice review and I'm very interested in it, but that damn background music is too distracting. If I was looking at a car video or such ....yeah it would be fine, but not here.
Douglas Finn thank you very much for your feedback. In our more recent videos we have reduced the volume of the backing track and are also looking into more subtle tracks too.

Will only play Flash games? 🤨 7280 happily runs loads of games; I'll admit that it wont run brand new graphic heavy games particularly well, but I regularly use it for Wow, Dirt3 and plenty of others.
Minecraft should be fine too right?

I wonder how good the headphone output is, I had a old Dell 12" laptop and the sound was very low quality with lots of hiss.
Dead wrong about not being able to play games - games like Bioshock, Prey 2017, Halflife 2, Battlefield BC2, Fortnite play without lag at med to high graphics.

@@jamil_fahmiyes I had it and it's pretty good in playing games that were released in the PS3 era, had a blast playing Bioshock infinite and Street fighter IV on it

I got one with a 500 GB SSD for $200 AUD I'll be playing some MOH AA, RTCW, OG CoD titles, System Shock, and San Andreas maybe

I'm unable to find backlight keyboard on my Dell Latitude 7280! I don't understand that my E7270 used to have this then why this doesn't include this. If anyone have the same issue or know anything related to it, do reply and help me out!

How long is the battery when browsing the internet ... Does it exceed 2 hours
It drains the battery life really fast so carry your charger around with you hope that helps. Just got it. Also if you are able to connect your Bluetooth please feel free to type in the comments how to but if not still ok

Is this kind of latitude good for programming?
It's not an ideal programming laptop but it can handle beginner to intermediate level pretty well, if you are learning programming then you can choose it, but if it's professional level, specially for machine learning where you have work with huge datasets then it's not recommended.
is it worth to buy this model now if i want to use it for video editing and some programming
This is an old model now, there are newer, more powerful laptops on the market.

This laptop will play games so you are completely wrong I can play alot of games with no lag like I bought every valve engine game including left 4 dead 2, left 4 dead with plenty of space left I have 30 games downloaded on my steam and I still have a great amount of space left so before you go saying this laptop wont game.... it will as long as your not playing mass open world games on high graphics this laptop is great!!

I think if they're shorter videos and smaller files you should be able to edit it ok... However since it has 8gb if you're looking to edit longer videos thouroughly it might be more difficult to, especially when it comes to rendering the videos

@@TechNuovo Incorrect. The Latitude 7280 does have a touchscreen version. I own the 7280 AND the 7250 both in touchscreen and have my Steam library loaded on an M.2 NvME on the 7280 and game all the time on it.

Lol “flash games” flash games have been gone for a while when this video was posted they just use some other way to run games on browser. But I have someone selling me this laptop for 400 dollars with 16gb ram and 1tb ssd.

You can pay for the GeForce now service, it is like Netflix but for games, you can even play gtav at ultra with a core m processor, the downside is that it is pricey, like 25 dollars/month, the good thing about it is that you are "using" gtxs 1080 to run your games and then it is transmitted to your screen

Yes. Streaming from something like Netflix, or even a NAS Drive in your home wouldn't be a problem at all.
