I would go for a super C, which is a semi chassis. Much easier to drive, fix and safer. I went through a lot of different types over the years and found it my favorite for full time living. Sadly just sold mine a few months ago. Happy trails!
Definitely the super C. Have had almost every variation and the super C is the best. Safest out of the models, easiest to work on and best drivetrain options usually.
Super C, or diesel pusher class A would be best options. We have a gas class A and it is loud in the driver/passenger area. Would much rather have one of the others.
I agree a super c would be a great choice for you guys especially if going through mountains with better towing.....ive sold many different brands of of rvs for a number of years and if you do your due diligence and check out other dealers, you will find that build quality and features are drastically different. If you are planning on having this rv for more than one trip and doing it a few times, i would spend the money and get a diesel pusher with a minimum of 450hp and a side mounted radiator for better performance going through the mountains. Entegracoach and Newmar are two of the top of the line along with Tiffin when it comes to this. Even in their Super C's and Class A gas coaches. Just keep in mind when you are getting up to this level of rv's the saying you get what you pay for is a big thing and spending that extra can take a cross country trip from a good experience to a great experience. Also remember when buying any kind of rv, it is never a question of if something will go wrong, but when. Good luck in your search, it will get frustrating and it will get taxing on you especially in the negotiations....there is a looooot of room in there....not like with cars typically. if you guys do have any questions or need any advise, please reach out.
Tiffin, Tiffin, Tiffin! We looked and researched for 2 years and always went back to Tiffin..Ultimately we bought a Tiffin 37BA. Absolutely love it.. Camping world sells cheap fall apart sh&t
Start looking up all the place you want to visit and get the overall length of your rv with a vehicle on it. Some rv sites are not very big and there are limits . I have to unhook and need to park my truck next to my trailer is most cases . Get ready now so you have everything you need before you start and do a few small trips to get use to it.
Hey guys, one thing I would definitely do is research the dealership and the experience people get after the point of sale. Camping world typically can look good at first but the nightmares do insue afterwards. I am in camper sales, definitely not close to you but if you have questions on anything I am happy to help! Maybe send some options that you weren't thinking of as well. Love the content
I agree stay clear of camping world their goal definitely does not have you in mind they make you think they are hooking you up but they are actually setting you up to be screwed in the worst way
I would go for a semi based motor home/RV. They are way more safe and easier to drive and fix. They are more reliable and even though you guys dont have a big family the soace will be a godsent when your on the road and have more than just 250sq ft to move around in.
You should go with a Super C, their prices range from 200k all the way up past 1 million, but those Super C's are way more dependable and get better fuel mileage plus you can get them that are all electric with no propane! Very much recommend no propane. Super C is the way to go!
How did I miss this?! Love the camper idea with the Wrangler! Colorado is one of our favorite places and the trails are endless! Can’t wait to see that content come out!!!!!!!
Definitely get one that is built on a semi truck chassis and if you can afford it with air brakes on something that big and heavy. Lots of people won’t like air brakes but they have much more stopping power then hydraulic brakes. With today’s technology air brakes are extremely reliable and much more forgiving then they used to be. Coming from an owner operator truck driver with multiple trucks.
Some people wait till retirement to do the whole RV. You guys are doing it right. You’ll have the energy to make those long trips. Our neighbors sold there house and have just been living out of their RV the last 3 years seeing the country. They made the home base up the Susquehanna a bit, but go all over. Theirs is similar to #1 if I remember right. It’s huge when you extend out the kitchen and bedroom.
Mike, in reference to your statement about having a vehicle in tow behind the RV ...you mentioned a Jeep Wrangler. Yes a Jeep would be a phenomenal choice but instead of a Wrangler, what about an older 70's to early 80's classic CJ model ? Finding one fully restored or even just in great shape is definitely in the realm of possibilities. A lot of them have had 350 Chevy small blocks dropped in them. Idk, I just think that would be such a cool idea. Maybe do a build on a Jeep as content...Im sure you'd get some decent views statistics on it. Either way, I'm happy for the two of you and good luck with your RV purchasing adventure lol ✌️
i would recommend a diesel pusher motorhome vs a gasser for sure you can get the same fuel mileage w/diesel loaded or not & the reliability u can depend on.. i had every style motorcoach over the years and the safest and easiest for me was the Super C's cuz i had a 2 story stacker racehauler i pulled behind it also aka the guest quarters when i had guests with me.. but once i went from diesel pusher to super C ther was no going back even now days you can pick up a refurbished semi tractor for cheap and use it for your tow vehicle on a 5th wheel and those are simple to use register as an rv and can be made to haul a harley or smart car on back of tractor along with the 5th wheel
I’m currently a service advisor at a RV dealer. AVOID Thor products if you’re going to have it for a long time. Those are one of the manufacturers we have the most problems out of. Tiffin is good if you get one a few years old (Thor bought them out recently) and prevost or just a custom built one would be the best route
If you get a RV that big sometimes it has air brakes Plus something that big you might need a CDL class a to drive it. I drive tractor trailers and I use a CDL class a
Awesome that y'all decided to travel this way. I'd definitely do your research, I watched/read all I could for a year on different brands before making my purchase. Good luck! Oh and if you go with a gas class a, look into liquid spring suspension, makes a HUGE difference in ride and handling.
Me and my wife and kids have one and it's the best investment we have done besides buying our home best memories are made on the road and camping with family and friends
Can't wait to watch this series and waiting for the house build. But Mike remember you can't leave anything alone when it comes to performance so make sure to get the RV that's tunable.
Although a super C is safer and easier to do self maintenance on, you simply don’t get the room of a class a motorhome Especially for full-time RV living, I would pick a class a or fifth wheel over a super C any day. But I would stay away from a gas clase and go with a diesel pusher. They are so much quieter going down the road, which makes it that much more enjoyable.
Mike ,ive been watching since the white Challenger, looking forward to our new journey. The best part is watching piglet & oatmeal enjoying this like my 2..
Definitely drive before you buy. The gas powered Class A V-8/V-10 RV's are so underpowered. I don't think they're still making them with V-10"s...but I wonder if you could supercharge one of the ford V-8's?
I would suggest looking at different dealerships. I personally saved $60k on an RV (identical spec as CW) by shopping elsewhere. Plus, I hear the post-sale service sucks.
My wife and I are actually thinking about buying an RV, we want to be closer to our grandkids Texas. Thanks so much for sharing. I like the last one also, but i did like them all
There is a really big rv dealership in danville VA as well as a fairly big camping world in Charlotte NC. May be worth checking out. I know you guys head this way a fair bit going to the beach. Also I dont know if they have any motorhomes to suit you guys but bumgarner camping in lenoir NC was a fantastic dealership to deal with when we got our camper. I can't recommend them enough.
Highly recommend getting a diesel pusher class A even used. It will drive better and tow drastically better. Please test drive before you buy. Those smaller has class A Thors do not drive well.
Definitely stoked for you guys as it's a cool bucketlist hobby for a lot of people and it will be amazing to watch. #1 & #4 were my favs, but #4 seemed like an actual friggin house. With just 2 people you don't need too much space and it's really about the places you go and not the RV. I trust you guys will make the right decision. 🤘
if you guys do go with a class a be sure to get a diesel or even with a class c 32’ or longer otherwise it tends to feel like its struggling up hills especially if you guys will be towing a car behind.
New= untested, may run into issues. Used= tested, gotta trust previous owner maintainence. Both have pros and cons, but definitely with it for great memories to come
I used to go camping for years with my mom's ex and my mom I even know of a great Campground in Myrtle Beach Ocean Lakes the best around I want to take my dad one day if I ever get one he never got to experience the trips we took
Class A all day long. We have a 40’ Fleetwood Revolution. Diesel pusher; on a Freightliner Chassis. Super powerful, good on fuel. DONT get a gas powered RV. Unless you want it to scream at 4,000rpm down the road.
I found the best way for this situation is to go to a RV camp site and ask owners of their RV's in action..you'll be surprised how nice people at campsites will be
Go with a tiffin or coachman diesel pusher . 35 footer will pull your home and that jeep alot better than a gas rv . Or find a nice old Monaco you'll thank me later .
Hey guys I would rent a couple different makes first before you decide to buy then when you are camping talk to other people with class A models and see what they have to say gillig is also a good brand
Super C is the best way to go. RELIABLE, POWERFUL, DEPENDABLE, BUILT STRONG AND EASY TO WORK ON OR HAVE WORK DONE ON. Super C is the only RV that deserves to be in your driveway.
The thing you have to realize about a motor home vs. A travel trailer is that for a majority of the time the thing sits still until the one time, three times, or whatever per year you want to use it. Imagine if yo spent the majority of your time sitting on a couch, and then once a year you get up and walk 30 miles, you may have a problem. Same goes for a motor home. Vs. With a trailer, there is no motor, transmission etc. You pull it behind your truck. You use your truck all year and all the time for everything, so when you hook it up to a trailer and ask it to drive across the country, you're less likely to have a problem.
I would go for a super C, which is a semi chassis. Much easier to drive, fix and safer. I went through a lot of different types over the years and found it my favorite for full time living. Sadly just sold mine a few months ago. Happy trails!
Yes 100% agreed, best way to travel.
Definitely the super C. Have had almost every variation and the super C is the best. Safest out of the models, easiest to work on and best drivetrain options usually.
Absolutely! Buy once cry once. Especially if y'all plan on putting down some miles. 💚
I would also recommend a SUPER C. ISW SALES
My dream is to get a motor home and only drive 100 miles a day exploring the hole country....
Super C, or diesel pusher class A would be best options. We have a gas class A and it is loud in the driver/passenger area. Would much rather have one of the others.

Tiffin, Tiffin, Tiffin! We looked and researched for 2 years and always went back to Tiffin..Ultimately we bought a Tiffin 37BA. Absolutely love it.. Camping world sells cheap fall apart sh&t
I would agree tiffin pre-Thor buyout.
@@johnathanromero3944Thor sucks. Cheap throw away RV’s
I could bake some cookies in that oven 😁👏
💯
Buy a used one, the bugs are already worked out of it, always little issues with those things!
Start looking up all the place you want to visit and get the overall length of your rv with a vehicle on it. Some rv sites are not very big and there are limits . Yes I would stay away from camping world for purchase. The service has been less than desirable.
I agree stay clear of camping world their goal definitely does not have you in mind they make you think they are hooking you up but they are actually setting you up to be screwed in the worst way
2 and 4 were the nicest ones!
The last one of course!
I would go for a semi based motor home/RV. They are way more safe and easier to drive and fix. They are more reliable and even though you guys dont have a big family the soace will be a godsent when your on the road and have more than just 250sq ft to move around in.

Not even 3 minutes in, and already SUPER excited for all the RV content to come!!! Glad yall are taking us along on this fun new adventure with you!
RVing with Andrew Steele is a good place for reviews
I would go for the last one.
The last one you guys looked at, plus it was the ɓest deal.
Renagade or Showhauler are my favorite. I work on paint for both so im kind of biased..
Number 4 was my favorite also
Some people wait till retirement to do the whole RV. You guys are doing it right. You’ll have the energy to make those long trips. I loved 4 as well, definitely can’t wait to see u guys on that adventure.
Gotta go with a Prevost chassis or even Semi chassis for an RV the smaller ones are more stressed in terms of their weight ratings and power levels.
Prevost my brother. Ultimate luxury for Gina and the pups.
Mike, in reference to your statement about having a vehicle in tow behind the RV ...you mentioned a Jeep Wrangler. Yes a Jeep would be a phenomenal choice but instead of a Wrangler, what about an older 70's to early 80's classic CJ model ? We pick up our 1st camper tomorrow we are super excited!!😊
Jayco Precept has J-Ride plus with big sway bars and 22.5 inch Tires with Alcoa wheels
Number 4 was the best for you guys.
Look for a diesel one, the mpg is worth the extra $ if you plan to drive a lot.
Seeing you guys looking at RVs is really cool
i would recommend a diesel pusher motorhome vs a gasser for sure you can get the same fuel mileage w/diesel loaded or not & the reliability u can depend on.. i had every style motorcoach over the years and the safest and easiest for me was the Super C's cuz i had a 2 story stacker racehauler i pulled behind it also aka the guest quarters when i had guests with me.. but once i went from diesel pusher to super C ther was no going back even now days you can pick up a refurbished semi tractor for cheap and use it for your tow vehicle on a 5th wheel and those are simple to use register as an rv and can be made to haul a harley or smart car on back of tractor along with the 5th wheel
I like the 1 with the bunk beds and the master in the back
I’m currently a service advisor at a RV dealer. AVOID Thor products if you’re going to have it for a long time. Those are one of the manufacturers we have the most problems out of. Tiffin is good if you get one a few years old (Thor bought them out recently) and prevost or just a custom built one would be the best route
Mike please listen to this person.
Keep shopping around. Look at the difference between class A and Super C's with a semi chassis.
Also look at diesel pushers and gassers
I’m sure you know this being in the Hershey area but don’t forget Hershey has the biggest RV show every year. I think end of summer
Love ur smile. Gina. Love ur guy’s videos.
Definitely #4. You made an excellent choice.
Definitely the A class
So glad you had a good experience. I know several people who have been to CW in NLR Arkansas and everyone has had a terrible experience
Number 2 was sweet
If you get a RV that big sometimes it has air brakes Plus something that big you might need a CDL class a to drive it. I drive tractor trailers and I use a CDL class a
That there is an RV Clark 😉
The last one you guys looked at
We are ready for your trip to Colorado!
Can’t wait for your travels , the last one gives you the room for your little cuties x
Make sure you do a ton of research on the manufacturer and get the longest warranty you can.
Definitely look into a super c
Awesome that y'all decided to travel this way. I'd definitely do your research, I watched/read all I could for a year on different brands before making my purchase. Good luck! Oh and if you go with a gas class a, look into liquid spring suspension, makes a HUGE difference in ride and handling.
You do need soler set up on them.
I would go with a 5th wheel. Bc it is so much easier when you get to the location. You would have to have a tow behind vehicle to get anywhere.
It's all about the warranty and if stuff gets broken.... It may take forever to get fixed ...
Cool 😎 . The Casinos RV parking is like a car show for RV ‘s !
Wish there was a bunk above the cockpit, other than that what a great rig‼️
The 4th definitely hope to see you guys in Massachusetts
Look into a super C class. It's the best of everything.
Me and my wife and kids have one and it's the best investment we have done besides buying our home best memories are made on the road and camping with family and friends
Make sure you dont get a folding bed or a bed on a slide out that blocks the bathroom when closed.
#4 is like my layout. Love it!
Can't wait to watch this series and waiting for the house build. But Mike remember you can't leave anything alone when it comes to performance so make sure to get the RV that's tunable.
You want a Diesel Pusher RV . You could get a 24’ enclosed trailer to tow a vehicle.
Go with the diesel pusher
Mike and Gina Great Video I'm glad you had a great time RV shopping and I think you should get the second one
Last one for sure
Mike ,ive been watching since the white Challenger, looking forward to our new journey. The best part is watching piglet & oatmeal enjoying this like my 2..
Definitely drive before you buy. The gas powered Class A V-8/V-10 RV's are so underpowered. I don't think they're still making them with V-10"s...but I wonder if you could supercharge one of the ford V-8's?
As of a couple years ago, they use the 7.3 gas Godzilla engine. The V10 is no longer in production.
definitely need to look at a super c , diesel most are built on a ford f-550 chassis and can pull up to 10,000 lbs
Last one!!!
I would look into a super c
When you walk in a mf huracán to a RV dealership you better bet they’re gonna treat you well 😂😂
I would suggest looking at different dealerships. I personally saved $60k on an RV (identical spec as CW) by shopping elsewhere. Plus, I hear the post-sale service sucks.
My wife and I are actually thinking about buying an RV, we want to be closer to our grandkids Texas. Thanks so much for sharing. I like the last one also, but i did like them all
I like number 2 it so nice u definitely my favorite UA-camr mike And gina little window for your dog
Mike and Gina, pick number 4, 3 is an honorable mention
#4 for sure
There is a really big rv dealership in danville VA as well as a fairly big camping world in Charlotte NC. May be worth checking out. I know you guys head this way a fair bit going to the beach. Also I dont know if they have any motorhomes to suit you guys but bumgarner camping in lenoir NC was a fantastic dealership to deal with when we got our camper. I can't recommend them enough.
Camping is one of the most inexpensive an fun ways to travel I’ll be starting my camping adventures in my mini van next year
Highly recommend getting a diesel pusher class A even used. It will drive better and tow drastically better.
Please test drive before you buy. Those smaller has class A Thors do not drive well.

Mike i recommend getting a diesel. Gas powered are dogs on mountain roads. i had one gas powered one in 2000-2001 and have had diesel from 2003 on.
Look at diesel if you can, if just doing it for content, might do the gas model.
if you guys do go with a class a be sure to get a diesel or even with a class c 32’ or longer otherwise it tends to feel like its struggling up hills especially if you guys will be towing a car behind.
New= untested, may run into issues.

I think number 4 was the best one and you can't beat 30k off the price personally that's the one I would buy
Stay clear of camping world!!
You guys are living my dream,I’d so love to own an rv.Can’t wait to see the content in the future.
Camping World has had a lot of horror stories. Rv Value Mart is the way to go with three PA locations
It’s always kinda funny seeing Mike without sun glasses.
I found the best way for this situation is to go to a RV camp site and ask owners of their RV's in action..you'll be surprised how nice people at campsites will be
You can also flat tow the new Ford Bronco. I tow my bronco behind my Jayco Class C!
camping world tried picking us out 3 campers we ended up looking at 10 or more lol. i like the ones where you have free range
If they come with a polar package make sure you get that. You'll thank me later
Go with a tiffin or coachman diesel pusher . 35 footer will pull your home and that jeep alot better than a gas rv . Or find a nice old Monaco you'll thank me later .
pick number 4,
I like the last one ❤ im chad shouting out from Greenville NC
Hey guys I would rent a couple different makes first before you decide to buy then when you are camping talk to other people with class A models and see what they have to say gillig is also a good brand
