@@Frankie5Angels150 Yes, when the Turtles disbanded in 1970, The two singers, Mark Volman & Howard Kaylan formed a duo called, Flo & Eddie, they earned their primary living as session musicians & back-up singers. They first played with Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention, as Phlorescent Leech & Eddie, (shortened to Flo & Eddie) later they worked with such acts as Blondie & The Ramones before making records of their own. They stopped touring in 2018 because Kaylan required heart & back surgery.

The Turtles as a band ended in 1970, so Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan began peforming as Flo & Eddie on albums and with Frank Zappa. Although Kaylan retired in 2017 due to health issues, Volman and Ron Dante continue to tour to the present day. In this 1976 show they're billed as both The Turtles and "Flo & Ed". @@StephanieJeanne Ah... I grew up in the 80s but I remember the 70s well from watching the old shows! I wasn't old enough for my parents to let me stay up late to watch SNL or Midnight Special. My earliest memory of watching rock acts was on American Bandstand in the mid 1970s and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in 1979 going into 1980.
