    *Nick Robinson:* "...greens as the new far-left radical..."
    Excuse me?! What US journo framing is this?! They're socdems at best, and if you think thats radical left, then oh boy, has a little lesson on the overton window never been more needed.
    What a comment to make. Totally journalistically incompetent. I'm aghast.

    • @ChrispyNut
      @ChrispyNut 3 місяці тому +1

      They are the far-left party in British overton window too, which isn't much wider or further left than U.S, but they're not new, they've been out there for a while, just typically ignored and scoffed at.
      They're probably more toxic to the status quo than Corbyn and the 2017-19 Labour platform. "A WEALTH TAX, OUTRAGEOUS, we need gold plated floating townships more than those [so called] "people" need 3 square meals a day".

      Sadly they are victims of the Overton window.
      It is the idea that the world is generally so far to the right, the even the barely left of centre is thought of as radical.
      Any further left is consider absolutely unthinkable.

The wealth tax to fund public services, including the NHS, paying child benefit and giving free school meals to all children policies are not about the environment. We are the only party that has a kinder politics that lifts 250,000 children out of poverty immediately.

    They had to get on with this. He is not in a good place. They did'nt want a martyr, it would have look like a Navalni.

      Navalni was a cia operative. He was of no use to them anymore. He wasn’t any threat to Putin in prison…. Or out of prison actually. Most Russians haven’t even heard of him. I can only think you’ve never seen film of him calling people from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan etc cockroaches. He is/ was a total white supremacist. Looks like you’re getting too much news from msm 🤨

      @@melmorrison1400 i didn't know all that either until i looked it up last month or so. He was racist openly initially. Then tried to hide it after the first years.😅

    Thank you for sharing that audio but Jesus Christ that’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to listen to. The fact that people can still so openly deny this genocide sickens me to my core. I hope one day Hind Rajab, her family and the rest of Palestine can have some form of justice but if history has taught us nothing unfortunately I don’t think that’ll happen

    I suspect this massive news will not be at the top of the mainstream cycle, nor on the front of the daily's. It should be. Not much I can add to the words of the interviewee. I for one am thrilled, it's huge news. I doubt this is the end of the story however.

    The plea deal came about because the Americans and the Australians got wind of the fact that British court was about to set Assange free!

    no wonder they dont let journalists in, with a phonecall, some pics and models you can figure out alot. imagine how much you could get by letting journalists in
