Aren't the camshaft and crankshaft both lined at 0 together? And then put the crankshaft on 24 degrees to install the injection? Or is the camshaft 0 with crankshaft being 26

Hello so I did align The groove between the pinion teeth with mark of the pump then set crankshaft at 26 because this engine is 200 not 220,240 and for 200 you must put it 26 degrees before TDC

Добрый день.На 616 дизеле По мануалу прописано 24 градуса до ОТ. Но тогда дизель будет работать грубо.На днях я выставил аппаратуру на 18 градусов можно ещё позднее двинуть на 2 градуса.Не сильно позднее а то чёрный дым при езде появится, в этом положении мягкая работа дизеля и машина бежит скоростнее.

Если исходить из мануала, то все детали двигателя начиная с цепи и шестерни и любая деталь, которая связана с ГРМ, должны быть новыми.
Например, если цепь слегка растянута или старая, мы не сможем получить помощь от руководства по регулировке насоса.

@@bryancontreraspenaloza7952 First, loosen the screw next to the pump door with a screwdriver, then pump it by hand a few times with the diesel pump
Tighten the screw when the air bubbles are removed from under the screw and the diesel comes out without bubbles

@@Mechanicaltricks hello, yes, I watched your video twice, I know both cam and crank supposed to be at TDC then turn crank to 24 degrees in my case and insert injection pump with aligned marks, but if my crank and cam is off, then the injection is firing on the wrong moment (that’s why I am doing this job) very difficult to start the car, after 4 tries and preheating and spraying ether, but it runs very well once run.
@@Mechanicaltricks I turned the flywheel again, and it looks like i am even more off, could it be because I took off the belt tensioner? I think I will install a new chain to have it perfect again and not a mediocre timing setting . I can see the injection of 1st cylinder starts to give fuel at about the 10degree mark on the crankshaft!
@@makingcookingfixing First, check the chain tensioner , if it is damaged, the chain is loose and the valve shaft is out of adjustment
To check it, open the valve cover, shake the chain guide back and forth, it should not be loose
It should keep the chain tight
If it is broken, your chain will be loose

Est ce qu’il est risqué de rouler avec le tuyau du retour fermer ? Ou comment dois je faire ?

Дополню комментарий.На дизелях 615-617 после пробега 16000-18000 км. Возникает такая проблема как регулировка клапанов. В основном впускные клапана поджимают и не можеш запустить машину, запуск с буксира потом она заводится с ключа целый день. Если допустим поджало впускной клапан то выставляйте зазор не 0,10 как это положено, а выставляйте 0,15 так как на поджатом клапане и седлом образуется окись (белого цвета) этот зазор 0,5 компенсирует пока клапан прибьет на место.Это всё из личной практике что я прошёл на ОМ-616.

The generic instructions in the Manual if you Fuel Injection Pump is correctly marked are to turn the Engine in the drecton of rotation until on the Compression stroke of Cylinder #1 (you can tell by looking at the first Cylind Camshaft Lobe Position) at 24 degrees on the Crankshaft before top dead Center (OT on the Crank).
If your Fuel Injection Pump is marked correctily the little line on the Camshaft Bearing Cap is lined up with the Screw in the top facing left.
You would line missing splines on the Drive End of the Fuel Injection Pump with that mark on the Camshaft Bearing Cap . The stick the Fuel Injection Pump into the Engine with the mounting Studs in the Middle of the Slots on the Pump Flange and install it.
Note that the Fuel Injection Pump that has the timing marks correct has the mark on the Camshaft Bearing Cap lining up with the Screw on the Bearing Cap
You still have to time the pump!
