How many refs did Jarrett bump?

  • With WWE Summerslam 2022 tonight we see the return of a wild Slapnuts Jeff Jarrett. He will be the special referee tonight. This is a big moment for WWE and Double J, how many dimes will he draw for them? But will we see a ref bump? It felt like Jarrett hated t he referees and beat them up constantly in TNA so I just had to find out. Exactly how many ref bumps were there in Jeff Jarrett matches?

Or the Great Kali. I think Roman Reigns is kinda like a modern Jeff Jarrett in that he gets a lot of gold but doesn't seem very popular. I don't watch wrestling outside of UA-cam these days so might be a bad analogy. But he at least has put nearly 40 years in the business in.

174 Matches.. so I am going to guess 175 bumps. I hope that I am not too conservative.

This video reminds me of how much I despised the Jeff Jarrett run in TNA. It is beyond ridiculous how much they relied on the "ref bumps." I learned to despise the "ref bump" very quickly and TNA's reliance on the "ref bump" drove me away from watching TNA for several years. The lazy booking in TNA was pretty sickening! I did not return to watching TNA again until around 2010 due to the terrible booking!

So you started watching TNA again the year they started doing the terrible booking, what a coincidence.

What’s sad is TNA was actually very fun to watch from around 2004 to 2006, with one big exception: Jeff Jarrett. And unfortunately Jeff was shoving himself down people’s throats to try and convince them that he’s a main event talent. It’s a huge reason why their audience never grew past a certain point
