They make an articulating mount for the controller that attaches to a seat bolt so that you don't have to drill the floor of the truck. I'd also put rubber vibration isolation pads under the salter mounts to protect the bed of the truck.

Hey Ryan love the videos as always! I’m a Journeymen Auto Body Technician I paint cars for a living! I would like too recommend you going too automotive paint supply store near you and purchasing some Epoxy primer it will be expensive you will also need catalyst (Hardner) and thinners but when your welding stuff like that mix up a lil bit & brush it on even! Keep that beautiful truck from ever rusting!
My dad used to plow with a ford explorer and he was a cabinet maker wood maker on the side,. anyways he redid the center console in the truck with a wooden thing he created that had the plow control built into it and steady etc. Put cup holders back in etc that thing was awesome. My dad was always creative and building some unique things out of wood.

Might I suggest that you put a non slip pad on the bed where you step up onto and stand, because when it gets wet or icy it is an accident waiting to happen. Nice setup and truck Ryan.

You should look at semi truck stores that sell CB stuff. My pops had a CB holder that was plexiglass but it was a two piece and it formed over the drivetrain tunnel
the salter looks great to me, good job, we are in Buffalo and getting hammered with 60 mph winds and drifting snow that is over the roof of my truck stay warm and be safe. Merry Christmas to all!
You have some very well rounded skills with your installation of things and fixing things and your welding skills are awesome! You save yourself so much money just by having all those skills handy, making your own tap and basically kitting out your fleet truck perfectly! Looks great, you have good taste i will say! Quality job!

Thinking the same thing about the pads!!!
pads will help a ton over time. especially with metal on metal vibration and add salt to the equation.....gonna be some rusting
