      Cheers Dock for the comment, My best 5 flies would be a good starter for beginners, might have to be later in the year and would be on my best catch rated flies for 2022, The apps bloodworm was good for me in 2021, but not done much for me this year "how strange is that" at the moment i making some strange flies and just testing them out, The next 2 flies I have in my box are going for an outing this weekend and then a local water is getting a visit at the start of next week with slim black buzzers & red tag spiders. Thanks for watching Regards MD

      Hi he could use a foam arse blob and tie off from the hook shank 2 buzzers 1 at 3ft and other at 6ft, but u might find that the fish take the blob more than the buzzers. Regards MD

      It's just a 9.5ft #5 £10 budget rod, got it as a car boot rod 2yrs ago and do 70% of my fishing with it, It's a great soft rod. Regards MD

      Hi BC. Rick who is on the pennine Facebook page today was fishing to my left and he had been fishing a green and a white squirmy worm 2ft under an indicator on both the upper and lower waters and had 30+ fish and a very good double as well. I had one go with a green squirmy and had 1, but that was at the end day when i was about to go. So that's something am going to tie and use in a few weeks as am down at another water next week with a friend. Regards MD

    • @CBCB78
      @CBCB78 2 роки тому +1

      @@mdflyfishinguk5220 yeah I had one on the green squirmy stripping it on a intermediate and I had one one the white squirmy under the bung.
      I’m gonna try a chamois worm next week under the bung I think.
      Tight lines MD. Oh, and good luck in the playoffs.

      @@CBCB78 cheers fella, on the shammy worm, don't fish the very long ones as you get a lot of false takes when the trout just nip the ends.

    Hi MD
    Great video thank you. What would you put your success down to with 1 buzzer and bung? Does too many flies spook the trout, or are you hitting the feeding zone in terms of weight with 1 buzzer?
    Thanks again & Tight Lines

      Hi a few people here fish a single buzzer, it prevents double hook ups, not much fun trying to land 2 x 6 lb trout going for it (snap time) stops tangles and rerigging, which is lost fishing time. Fish will not get spooked as if it was a team of flies they would be 4/5ft apart minimum. I just like to keep it simple and it works for me. Regards MD

    You don’t use an indicator? How deep do you fish roughly? Thank you!!!

      @mdflyfishinguk5220  7 днів тому +1

      I did in this video I had the buzzer about 24ich under the bung, but if i fish it as a single fly without the bung, the buzzer normally stays at about 1 - 2 ft with a slow fig 8 or letting it drift in the wind with the fly line keeping it strolling along at a slow pace.

    I noticed in your video you said you won’t learn anything from this but actually I’m learning quite a lot from you and I am enjoying the videos which is improving my skills for that I thank-you . I love the information you are willing to share which helps a lot . I would also like to ask you please I have a little bag which is very handy I can gets all my stuff in but the net is a bit annoying on it and doesn’t seem to fit right so I was looking at getting a vest and putting all my tackle in it. I wondered if it would be worthwhile purchase one. just thinking of making things better lighter for me on the river and leaks . I also tried to contact you on your website however some reason I was unable to do this .If we cannot communicate this way it’s not a problem I’ll carry on in this manner or maybe I can send you my email address what do you think. Anyway many thanks for all that you do looking forward to the next one. Till then take care keep safe and keep fishing. Regards William

      A Fly vest is a good thing, stores everything you need, plus you can hook your net on the back of it. My vest is not top of the range and is ideal for my days out and cost about £30. Glad you like the days out videos and if it helps then great, My email address is mdflyfishinguk@aol.com Regards MD
