@usmankhan-rv9db Will has a team and has a history of singing lessons- I have neither. I'm glad you like his more, but we have different resources and musical interpretations. There's nothing wrong with that or having a preference, but they're 2 different products. I focused on staying quite faithful to the original for this one, Will changed it to fit his interpretation. His is great, I love the energy on his cover and the mix! But it's aiming to be a different product than what I was going for. Nothing wrong with that, since these are covers. Some people like Mafumafu more than Soraru and the other way around- we all have our preferences and visions ^^ I'm not upset or anything, I'm just showing you that there's more going on in this cover scene. I'm not competing with anyone, I have my own vision and preferences and am learning as I go along.

Hi Trickle! I don't know if you still can see comments on a 2 year old vid but I have a funny tidbit to share. Back in the latter half of 2022 while I was in Junior year, for English we had to write a lot about Catcher in the Rye, which, if you know, Holden Caulfield's (the protag's) favourite word is "phony." I discovered this cover (among others) around July that year and I realised how much the lyrics actually relate to his character. So while grinding out essays, I was jamming out to this on loop like the whole time :D It paid off in the end since I got an A+ for the final essay and I was super pleased. I like to think that this song helped me write better lmao. Anywho, thanks for all the music you've put out over the years, they're all fantastic to listen to! ❤
