I have a no fail hack for choosing flattering blush and lip colors. I got this tip years and years ago from the book Color Me Beautiful, make a fist and look at the color of the tightest part of your fist where the skin flushes more pink from making the fist. This is very close to your natural cheek flush color and your natural lip color, it's also the color of your ears and nose when they are cold. This is the most natural shade of blush for you and it's also a great way to pick lip color. You can go lighter or darker but stay close to that same basic color. It is so easy to do this while shopping for make up. You'll be amazed no more bad purchases of too orange, too yellow, too red, too purple or whatever.

The energy thing is 100%. I assume the person I see or am working with (cashier/waitstaff etc) wants to help me, is a good person and wants to do a great job. It works wonderfully. Plus, I do my best to always smile and thank them for their help in my day.

There is a more academic communication term for this called "assuming cooperation." It works and it helps to reduce any negative emotions. I assume that the person I'm speaking to, even if they are sarcastic, have some cooperative tendencies, and I can ask: "Is there something you misunderstood?"

This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

@user-bo9vf3py2w Don’t beat yourself up for still having feelings for her. It takes time to get over someone you thought was your person. I remember after a break up I had wished I could fast forward my life. Trust me it will get easier over time. And you will grow from this experience. Your person is out there be patient and they will present themselves when you’re ready to love again.

Brittany, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy all of your videos, from skincare and health products to hacks and products for all things related to home organization, beauty, time savers, etc. You are amazing in that you have time for your channel, are raising a lovely family, and do all of that with a vivacious, upbeat demeanor no matter what may be going on in your personal life. Today I saw a you tube video which posted screenshots of the vile and brutal texts your husband sent to you during your pregnancy. I just want to say to you that I, and I am certain most of your followers, wish you the best in overcoming this horrific situation....the separation, divorce, bullying, verbal abuse, etc. You are obviously a very strong individual, but no woman should ever have to endure that kind of abuse. I knew from some of the heartfelt videos you've shared with us that the situation is stressful and unsettling to say the least, but I had no idea what a vile and sadistic individual you had been dealing with. I am behind you 100%, as are my friends who also follow you. We are praying for you and your children, that you will get a fair resolution and can look forward to a bright future, sooner than later. We look forward to the day that you are free!. In the meantime, we are here to support you and your channel. God bless you, dear one. May the angels surround and protect you at all times! Sending love, prayers, and good vibes your way. 🤗💖🙏

@@vasseurbeauty I'm believe you 100%. One never knows what goes on inside someone else's marriage...and certain men are VERY good at hiding their abusive actions and gaslighting those they abuse. Seriously, the actions of men like this make me so angry. I am praying for your fortitude through this process and most of all, sweet peace for you and your dear children as soon as possible. Stay strong through the ups and downs and you will prevail! Please be careful; he seems very hostile.

Brittany thank you so much for posting this, I really loved the part about incorporating the colour wheel to make my eyes pop. I’ve tried blues, purples and greens in the past because I have hazel eyes but I was wanting to have a more natural look, however browns and earthy tones don’t have the same look so I tried golds instead x
I was wondering if you would ever consider hosting seminars online in the future where people pay an ongoing membership to be a part of your seminars where you could discuss finances and things to avoid etc when it comes to situations that you have experienced. I know that Cody Jarratt, who was married to Australian Actor John Jarratt, has been very successful when she started holding seminars etc to discuss how she was left high and dry after the birth of her second child with stacks of bills to pay and horrible circumstances. She also discussed how it’s wise to have a secret safety net type account so that if the marriage did dissolve, the woman can have assurance in the knowledge that she will not be left drained financially and physically x

Well that’s the thing it totally depends on the type of color wheel you’re using. On some color wheels pink or even shades of purple are considered opposite of brown but on other color wheels they have blue as the opposite so I would just play around with those and see which one works best for you. A soft shade of pink is going to be the most subtle anyway but yeah blue or purple could also work well. For some green can work really well too. The main thing you’ll noticed is that all of these are cooler toned shades because brown is a warmer color💯👁️🩵

I liked the hair volume idea. Another thing I do is when flat ironing, I will start at the root and go out 1-2 inches and then go back towards your roots, and as you keep going down the rest of the hair you go back out towards the natural direction of the hair. It's similar to this but straightening the whole section of hair at the same time❤❤❤

I have another hair hack: after using heat on your hair, you set it with cold air. That's what they do at hair salons, that's why your hair stays styled all day long v/s a few hours when you style it at home.

Okay, wow!! First of all, the bun looks SO good on you!! You look so pretty with it. 💗 And second of all, I LOVE the flat iron hack for more volume. The "after" looked GREAT!! Definitely something I'll be doing from now on!!

I've gone through the effort of finding out my eyes complementary colour, went and bought a few eye pencil in that colour, and am stuck in application. Have no clue how to apply it to bring out the eye colour. For reference I'm a deep mahogany brown, and complementary was a deep fir/teal.

How do you keep coming up with so many good suggestions?! That app for color analysis is fantastic. I have already told all my friends. Thank you!
