Beautiful looking set! It makes me want to get out my old unopened tubes of poly gel and play! I agree about "slip solution", no matter what the brand, alcho-gel or alcohol just works better and ploy gel can be so sticky! I need to order a Modelones kit, I'm still stuck on gel, it's been 3 years this month, since I switched from acrylic to gel because of your videos and my nails just keep growing! Occasionally I cut them down, e-file the hard gel off and start over again. Poly gel may be my next thing, it's been about 2 years since I've played with it and I have 8 unopened tubes in al different colors.

@@Ms2unique4u They do, they kind of started the whole poly gel thing a few years ago. I also find Makartt poly gel to be it's equal. Not too sticky, easy to work with, alcohol works better than actual slip solution which is mostly alcohol anyway. Gelish is way more expensive than some of the others of course, you are paying for that name.

That’s interesting that you don’t take the all the way closer to the cuticle- but I guess it’s easier to file off / down the excess and blend it to the natural nail - and it being a nude colour blends in better into the natural nail.
I just bought the set, I hope the dual form will fit my thumb, I can’t seem to find one that covers the whole nail by 1-2mms.... fingers crossed LOL
Very nice! So disappointed DAX Alcogel not sold in US. I don't like using the slip solution either. Is there another alternative ? Thanks so much 💕

@Elizabeth C: we don't have alcogel here in the US. I looked about a year ago when Jessica first mentioned it. It's basically an unscented hand sanitizer with aloe vera and isopropyl alcohol. You can make it yourself by using pure aloe vera gel and the alcohol. Or, just use isopropyl alcohol instead. I find 90% and above to work best. It doesn't leave a milky residue or change the color or consistency of the polygel the way slip solution or a lower percentage alcohol does. Hope this helps you!

I try to get some stiff from en Vogue's but need license.... if don’t have can’t get it ?
what do you do with the excess polygel?
is there a reason why you don't fully apply color gel up to the cuticle but leave some space between the cuticle and the gel polish?
Yes, the reason is that I don't want it to touch the cuticles. If it does then the nails will start to lift, or she could also develop an allergic reaction to the product. So I try to stay away from the skin, but still close enough for the nails to look brand new! :)
But now that I look at it again- i could have put it a bit closer hahah

Your room looks like a very bright sunshine day. With the white towel as a background the lens maybe did not know what to focus on because it was so bright? I noticed when you placed your hand behind the dual form on finger the camera focused right in . Try using a different towel with some color on sunny days .

What is the e file that you use?
Love the colour, try using duel forms over the top of tips, it stops all the gunk underneath the nail, also I think you were applying a little too much polygel.. x
