Hell yes, you're a Marine Sawman. You graduated boot camp. You earned the EGA. You're one of us for life. Semper Fi!
Sawman?
Thank you HVAC. Why not the R designation after HVAC?
RIP Richard! Take care!!
Best of the best of the best.
I thought there would be more discission about Demo Dick given the video post. Respect to all warriors.
A talented man brought down by his own hubris, you get that through his books, anyone who isn't in the Dick Marcinko fanclub was an enemy to be attacked and humiliated. And when his sea daddy retired everyone he'd ever screwed over now had their chance for revenge and he had no one to protect him anymore. Oldest story in the world (or at least the navy).
Let's get one think straight the guys got results and when he stood up Red Cell it was under orders to test facility security NOT to protect careers. He brought videographers and a lawyer and the officers still got offended. Btw he was a mustang not an Annapolis man so he was not really accepted by the Navy officers
@@karlcarlysle3578 Yes but there's testing security and rubbing people's faces in it and Marchinko did the latter, partly from his own inferiority complex, he always bangs on about being a mustang and folks looking down on him when actually he treats everyone like dirt and is then surprised when they're out to get him. You should read Michael Walsh's book SEAL.
Sounds alot like General Patton & General Mac Arthur, Pat Tillman......Brilliant ass-kicking motherfuckers who were TOO REAL for Average men to keep up with....They called a Spade a Spade. The R.E.M.F.s, Pencil-neck Geeks 🤓 , and Weenies were very very threatened by them and "tried" to destroy them. On a political this is what they (The Swamp) did to Nixon, Reagan, Ollie North & Trump....RIP 🙏 Patriots..many of us appreciate what you did for your country! Matt NYC
@@MrLorenzovanmatterho You Mad, Bro?
@@manofaction1807 No, everything I said is true, Marchinko was the agent of his own destruction.
I remember his BOOK! Hit me right twixed my eyes! the whole thing with nuc bases!
The last time I saw Dick was August of 2012. We'd taken our wives and kids to Cedar Point, Ohio Amusement Park and we hung out at the indoor water park at the hotel. August 2012. He was in and out of a wheelchair by that time. Needed some assistance.
I used to drink with Marcinco and seal team 6. I was married a guy from DEVGRU and who I met in NAVORDEOD.
My Heroes. 😎🔱👍
Great freaking story!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Craig, I also joined my beloved Corps in June of 83. Mike company, platoon 3059 (I was the Guide/Honorman), and graduated early September. Were you in a sister platoon or series then? Not sure about your Force Recon statement though in the early 80's. I was an 0311 and plenty of room for Recon and Force recon, you should have joined brother... In any event, I did 10 and got out.
Marcinko seemed like an interesting guy... he was respected so people can say what they want about him....
Great 👍 channel right here
Much appreciated
When I met him, I was surprised how short he was. He was built like a brick shithouse, but he was short. He was a real cocky son of a gun, and his training was spot the fuck on. I learned a lot from his training techniques, more then anyone else I've ever met.
He is one of many very short seals. Lol
I don't know about all that, but i have read a book about Hill 488 where in Vietnam the marines though rocks at the enemy in a last dich effort to survive a wave of NVA enemy.
“Mar-sink-o”
In the original Croat the "c" is pronounced "ch"
@@markbeames7852 I’m just telling you the way the man pronounced his name. Not a big deal.
I agree. It's just that citizens that only see the name and only know the Slovac way may mispronouce. Thanks amigo!@@KrispyKreme50
