Yes, rediculous, almost everywhere housing prices are maxed out. The only common thread is to get lower prices you'd have to move a further commuting distance away from job centers to get lower prices. Then, your vehicle needs to be dependable and you must perform more maintenance on vehicle. 🙏
I am sick of hearing those who have all they need (or want) to judge others and say, "Live within your means." News Flash: Sometimes, the means doesn't cover basic living expenses. That means "living within one's means" means to go without medicine, without healthcare, without food, without a roof over one's head, without insurance, without dignity.
Looks like 10’ wide. Increasing the size by 2 feet, makes a huge difference. 12 foot wide is ideal. Living in a space that’s too narrow gets old quick - especially when you can barely open an interior door.
Holy Cow!!! I feel like you were talking to me! I’m having a mid life crises about selling my mother’s home. And I swear you are truly speaking to me. Thank you!😊
By the time i found land not a rental space that is a waste too. Land with electric, septic , leveling it moving it. It would be just as much as a regular home with space for my kids to run . Ive already been through this.
SW Florida for the WIN...Hope your doing well..I finally retired a month ago and loving it. I worked 35 years at fedex...good to see you still out here..Love and respect ..I LOVE FLORIDA
Thank you brother for your generosity, you didn't need to do that. I appreciate you & respect you.. I have just been taking time for myself but I am still hoping the best for you & everyone. Keep Pushing Forward.. One Day At Time
in the front loft, what is behind the door there, is it like a closet or what and as well what is behind the door that is next to the fridge and before the main bedroom
But the mobile home landlords are jacking prices in Iowa to $700 a month to lease the lot unbelievable sick can't even have affordability for seniors 😢 😞 😑 😕
Same here in michigan. The predators buy up the mh parks and raise the lot rent. Then charge for water, trash pick up, school tax, whatever they can think up to make more $$$ I'm sure they are all Magats 😊
In Central Florida, in a 55+ community, where I was planning on retiring, the lot rents there are over $1,100 and barely big enough to fit this model on it. Then there are community fees, "recreational and community" assessments, utilities, taxes on top of it.
$700 is actually decent. Here in the NY suburbs an hour north of NYC mobile home parks are charging around $1200 although I am sure its probably much cheaper in the more rural areas in central NY.
@@user_abcxyzz Really? We have 4 acres and we rent space for a young couple. Their 5th wheel and a Wooden shed workshop. Includes electricity, water & access to our Starlink internet svc $500 a month. They've been with is for 2 yrs. They even have a chicken coop and Vegetable garden built. Quite a bit of land space.
Last year we bought a 3 bedroom/2bathroom brick house with fenced back and front yard and attached garage for $120k. We got really lucky; we were in a position where we didn't have to move right away and had the time to shop around.
Are you in rual idaho lmao. Out in the boonies somewhere. I got my calif condo 10 years ago. Paid off last year. Id hate to be looking to buy or rent at this current climate. How stressful it must be
A brand new single wide 70ft long Mobile Home with washer/dryer and full bathroom, with dishwasher, and eligible for Mobile Home parks, where tiny homes may not be accepted. A new Mobile Home is less than $60,000 which is what it turns out to be with Interest on the Loan, if you're keeping monthly payments less than $200 a month. Mobile Homes are insulated, solid, and legal almost everywhere. Even with housing shortages there are Corporation owners of Mobile Home parks that put new Mobile Homes into their parks and rent to own them to get them occupied. Much better than tiny homes.
I don't know where you are getting your figures but where I live mobile homes are over $100k and lot rents are $800. Buying property and owning your home will appreciate in value not so with mobile homes.
Please share where you are finding NEW mobile homes for $60k? Seriously, we own land, have a MIL dwelling, but are looking for a mobile to put adjacent. We don't see any under $150k.
So affordable, but what we worry about is the fact that some of the tiny homes we were interested in, were on leased lots, you dont own the land. So what if the land owner wants to sell the land, then what?
👍🏻 well done, and I bet it actually has closets and some storage , closets are needed for a functional, comfortable home , imho ☺️ didn’t see nearly enough closet space in that tiny home .
What are the dimensions? What is the square footage? Is there a washer dryer hookup? What is behind door number three the one next to the kitchen across from the bathroom?
I love the sink and the lights but I want one that has white or dark cabinets . I would rather bring my own furniture 😊 first I need to find land somewhere
Would love to know the weight limitations in the kitchen cabinets, floors(down and loft), no place to put a stackable washer/dryer, and a front door(not a sliding door) would have been nice. Also, a tub/shower would be nice. My opinion. Other than that, it is a beautiful tiny house.😇
I was so lucky to be able to find an old house with land for $50000! The house didn't need any fixing other than me choosing to add some insulation. I was able to pay it off in 5 years. But I am in a veeery rural location, pretty much at the end of the world! If you approach any city something like this would be impossible to find.
Mobile homes were America's first tiny homes. Average price of a 1980s mobile home was around $5k- $15k. Average square footage was around 1200- 1500. And now we’re trying to convince ourselves that a tiny home of around 300+ square feet for $60k is a hell of a deal. That used to be the square footage of a camper, Lol.
It would be classified as a "park model"' and generally it would be allowed both in an RV park or mobile home park, or unincorporated land, and maybe even on private property zoned for mobile homes, if the home is tied down and on a slab. I live in NW Florida and there is one in my neighborhood. They had it set on a concrete slab, tied down, tongue and wheels removed, under-skirted, connected to permanent power, water, and septic system. My county is ruthless when it comes to housing codes.
Unfortunately... many tiny homes are over 6 figures or are not allowed in certain areas. This one is nice with a good price, but I have seen them for more than $200,000. I bought a fixer upper and after renovations cost $128,00. I could have resold it for $230,000.
❤ I love that little tiny house that is a beautiful house I like that the price ain't bad either but how much would it cost to ship it to Georgia that's where I'm at
The problem is finding a place to put it... As an older person I want to be in an area with people... In Ontario Canada there really aren't any tiny home communities
The problem I would have with a tiny house is that type of house is modular, correct? So it sits above the ground. The downside to modular homes are typically in the winter time in cold climates, due to poor insulation below the house it becomes costly to heat modular homes. Now a stick built tiny house on the ground would be just like a normal home in that regard. Also, with tiny houses, I wouldn't want to stay in one during a hurricane. I don't think the structure is thick enough, or heavy enough to provide sufficient protection in a major wind storm. But if you live in an area that very rarely gets a hurricane or never gets them then that isn't an issue.
Since when is a SHED built onto a utility trailer a house? Worth $$60,000! Seriously! Just buy a used camper pretty much the same size for around $12,000. It will be easier and cheaper to move it!
It's nice that there are channels covering these. It would be even nicer if sales contact info was left in the description or pinned in comments.
Yes where can we get it for $399 a month?
Where can I get this one?
YES I NEED ONE I'M ON DISABILITY I ONLY GET 1239.00 A MONTH THEY JUST CUT MY CHECK ( MEDICAID) I LIVE IN VIRGINIA CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE !!!!
@ Wow! I live in VA and the same thing happened to me. I am dead broke too and no money for Christmas, behind in bills.

This is absolutely amazing. Very beautiful and affordable.
I like one just a little bigger with a washer/dryer and I don't need a loft (I'm a senior)

@Bewefau thank you for offering 🫴

100%
You didn't show what was behind the door at the end of the kitchen is it a washer dryer hookup question
That n maybe a small pantry
Love this! Only thing elseei need would be a place for washer dryer.

Beautiful tiny home, just need a few more feet to stand up in the loft.
I would like a tub and shower as well as a toilet that’s sits high and I would do 2 bathrooms. It’s just my preference.
I have see a 399 with 1 and 1/2 bath
Yeah 2 bathrooms and downstairs all one level for seniors

Sliding glass doors as an entrance does not offer any security.
Very nice but where’s the space for the washer/dryer
I'm thinking the closet on the left/across from the steps up to the loft - a stacked set

cuz we all know that you would never be able to exist without a washer/dryer right? That is why there are laundromats....
Yake yo azz to a laundro mat
That “space” is your closest laundromat location.
Have had large homes but normally spent most if my time in kitchen and bedroom.
Where's the hook ups for washer and dryer?

It's just a small mobile home, trailer for a large price. 100,000 would get you a nice double wide with lot.
HOW DO YOU BUY IT ?!
Canada needs subdivisions like this since nobody can afford 700,000 for the average house nowadays ....
Day one of salesman school: Don't bring up what ISN'T present in what you're trying to sell.
The kitchen bar looks terrible and cheap without cabinets underneath.
