Would you say you need AS/A-Level maths knowledge for any of the oxford interview questions you know of? I know maths isn’t a subject requirement but could they ask about maths A level topics that are medicine related (e.g. log graphs)?? Interview this Sunday eek!!
Harry Jones This is an interesting question because all is possible in Oxbridge interviews and analysis of graphical data do comprise a significant part of medicine I guess. However in mine and my friends interviews most of the questions which did involve maths were accessible to those who hadnt done AS/A-level maths ❤️
Can you give us a life story with all the essays and things you did and signed up for to get in please because im doing my gcse next year and i wanna get into one of the leading universities desperately and your videos have motivated me. Thank youuuu! 💕
Yes Thankyou for this suggestion! I will film a video explaining my experiences in Oxford. Hopefully this video will cover what my term has been like, how essays are, what life is like etc
Is there lots of people who have reapplied to medicine after a gap year in Oxford and if so can you do a video talking about what they did from June to December that helped them get in that time?
How much detail is a high level of detail to know your PS? I wrote about muscles. Do I need to know about the cell signalling and stuff involved in contraction? Cuz I don’t know that
Hi Fran! urgent question .. as mentioned in the video that your BMAT does not need to be amazing , and that people get interviews with 5's, do you think the threshold has increased? I'm scared that this year the cut-off will be quite high :( Thankyou!
Hey Farasha! I’m not exactly sure if they change their expectation for BMAT score from year to year. Your best bet would be to email admissions :) all the best
Hi, did you end up applying to Oxford? And did you get 5s in your GCSE? Did you get an interview? Sorry for all the questions but I just want an idea of what type of GCSEs are needed for oxford med
Hi! As far as I’m aware they only require alevels in the offer. They use GCSEs and admission tests results to select candidates for interviews . I’m not exactly sure what this would be in your case, it’s best if you email the oxford medicine admissions page? ❤️
