That's good to hear and thanks for watching. As someone who only got serious about practicing guitar 9 months ago these lessons have really helped me. No shortcuts or instant success but just following the lessons and trying to get them up to speed and played cleanly really helped. I will say every now and then I bail on the getting it up to speed and clean. They have a triplet minor pentatonic scales lesson they teach at 80 and 120 bpm. Pretty easy at 80 with a little practice. Still really sloppy at 120. At that point I move on to the next lesson but keep practicing on the speed. As I was creating this video I found Christopher Schlegel's lesson on "Building Speed" www.guitartricks.com/lesson/10335 and just changing how I hold the pick has already helped.

I also find most things I learn are quickly doable around the 80bpm range... but you're right, once that's knocked up around 100-120bpm it soon becomes sloppy haha! Really cool! Thank you for this video. Been kicking the tires on getting a personal instructor but dang it’s pricey. Been playing since COVID started and I feel like I’ve been a rut. Been needing some instruction for sure.
They have made some navigation improvements since I made that video so staying out of ruts is a bit easier. If you're just starting I think you'll really like going through the Basic Guitar 1 and 2 lessons. Then pick your favorite style and work though both levels of that style. I started on Blues and then switched to Rock and finished most of the 2nd level of Rock and then started learning some 3-pick level songs.

Is transposing an option for the songs so the chords match your vocal range?
I have not seen any way to do that.
Not as good as True Fire. Guitar tricks has really shown it's age.
