Alpine livery story: 2021 - The beginning 2022 - 2021 with BWT as sponsors. 2023 - 2021 3.0 2024 - Overheated. According to me, this is the second best livery on the grid. Red Bull have identity, that's why their livery didn't changed.
This whole game looks like it's from 2009, to be honest. Codemasters themselves have made better-looking racers around that time, such as "DiRT 2". The detail in that game holds up, apart from some limitations. Dirt on the environment and vehicles look great, water looks great, other effects look great, and so on. - "Dirt Rally" (the first) looks better yet, and that's from 2015. - This game looks so dry and simplistic in comparison. I know it also needs to render a whole platoon of cars and more complex environments and they want it to not budge in performance at all, but then we have so much more computing-power today. - And there's games like Assetto and GT... This doesn't touch any of those.
@nienaltv2737 bruh begging for classic tracks yet you dont even know about what things need to be able to be done for them. the first major thing is liscensing issues lmao. you haven't the first clue how things work.
Track licensing has to be approved by Liberty and the FOM, we are lucky to get MyTeam, Portimao, Paul Riccard and the Icons. Liberty and FOM don't like anything that's not part of the official season.
They should make an unique platform called "F1" and only charge us for DLCs that includes every new season grid. They aren't working on any engine update or at least the visual upgrades are minimal (Btw the RB20 and the SF24 should not reflect the light the same way as other cars because both cars painting are matte)... Tyre model, aero model, among others, are things that can be included on any patch (like any other sim) and they would have a bigger audience by making their player's money worth a little bit more.
I'd like to see future versions of F1 include the following: * Career mode: more than 2 players in career mode. League with more than 2 players is good, however it doesn't add the complexities of R&D and keeping your contract like career mode does. The practice sessions in career are much better as you actually have to reach targets in preparation for your quali sessions and race. * Livery Mods: it would be great if you could create your own custom liveries in game on PC and console versions. The liveries in game are limited and it appears that if you have a PC version (Steam) you are able to add a personalised livery into the folders. It would be great if this feature was available on XBox / PS5.
I hate they're adding more simulation to the handling only bit by bit. It's not hard to create a better simulation than AC or automobilista with such capital
In career mode, I always wish the design of the driver's helmet was more elaborate. For example, in 2010, each team had a visor sticker for that team. I wonder why the sponsor name is not reflected in career mode like in my team mode. I always think that if it was just a repainting of the title and the machine's color scheme every year, it could be sold at the same time as the opening.
I don't know what you CAN do in F1-games, but it should be like what was in the career-mode of the first "GRID", except more customizable like placing stuff manually and such. - I really liked that in that game, which made a car and team feel a bit more "yours".
@@rokkstar8129 Cause "just use mods" is an excuse to accept sub-par products. - If you buy something, especially at 60-70 Euros or whatever, it better deliver. - You shouldn't have to mess with modifications to get something up to par with what it should be.
But still no aero wing change when you change setup? Like running a 4-4 wing - the rear wing is as thick as it as Singapore or Monaco…please change it.
@@Mcrochev1994 fact. It’s so annoying as other setup changes affect visual on the car - toe angle is very slight. But we should wing changes depending on wing level we run. WHY is it not a thing??
Why is the contrast still so damn high? Especially the shadows and blacks are so damn dark. Look at 1:27, half of the car is 100% pure black darkness. Go to an actual F1 race and see how different it is. This would be such a simple fix... unbelievable. Played F123 for about 15 hours... switched to iRacing to never look back. For me, the contrast and horrible VR alone makes it not wanna get this. Apart from the borderline insane pricing.
I don't play these games, but it seems like it has none of that "auto-HDR", you know, like we have in our human vision, that adapts the brightness. - I don't know if actual gameplay-view is different than what we see here, but here it's absolutely static and doesn't change at all. So that's the problem. - And yes, they could lower the contrast or brighten the shadows a bit to compensate. But what I think is happening is that they want to make it look "dramatic" like autosports-style dramatic that you'd see in a lot of videos, not like real-life. That said, their other non-F1 games look a lot better, even as old as 10-15 years now. - Just look at titles like "DiRT 2" and "Dirt Rally", they just look great. Particularly the latter has these instances where it looks like you're looking at a real image due to how they handle things like lighting and the cameras. - I don't understand Codemasters their inconsistency.
About the "CLASSIC CARS" thingy... The game is called F1 24 (the one before F1 23, and so on), it's called the "official" F1 game which should reflect the current season. I get it, many use this thing as a random arcade (racing) game, but the increasing demand is also towards passionate sim level (a sim can be easily downgraded to arcade level through the software settings, but almost never the other way around!). Which means we really need this thing to be at least AC/ACC level (old sims!!!). Speaking of which, you can have almost the ENTIRE F1 HISTORY in the AC environment, cars and tracks (only a few years inside the 50s-70s era are missing from the entire 1950-2024 history)!!! So... let this be the best possible F1 sim (some day, with proper and constructive feedback from passionate F1 players)! You need classic cars, sure, but they can't bring ALL the iconic vintage cars into one game anyway, it will be a random decision, you'll get bored with those cars too, I'm sure... And those old cars need vintage tracks, it's really stupid to race them on modern tracks! So: the key today is to push for a GREAT F1 sim, based on the "traction" of the F1 2010-2024 collection! A GREAT representation of each current season, so people can mix the real F1 experience with the virtual F1, and add to the archive/collection! There are tons of things to be improved inside each season, the vintage cars' development only take away from this potential work time: handling, triple-screen support, realistic car setup and behaviour, updated scanned tracks, rules that should be applied correctly and consistently, immersion details, proper modern gear support, and so on... So the vintage thing - there are WAY better alternatives on the market for F1 nostalgics (myself included!). Let's push THIS product to be the best F1 sim ever, to follow the real F1 history, and to be worthy of its "official" title! My 2 cents...
Great post, i see what you are saying. But the thing is codemasters swapped F1 classic cars in a F1 game to a just awful supercars. That makes way less sense than keeping the classics. Now litarally no ones uses the supercars and when there was classic cars it was fun sometimes just drive with friends. It could have been better to focus on something else that the supercars as an laternative to the f1 classics.
@@GTMOTO70 This I agree with... I really don't need the street cars, OR I would like to see ALL the brands involved in F1 represented in the game (Alpine and Honda missing). But, again, I don't need supercars in the F1 environment. They're nice, I drove them around sometimes just to relax, but I also made a comparison with the corresponding models in AC/ACC - they're "there", but not quite!... :D So... yeah... I get it, they've tried to cover a bit the GT "market" maybe, but for me it's a bit of time wasted, when we need the F1 part to move forward. So, yeah, good point! LE: Oh!!! Except for the Safety Cars, I want them in the game, because they're part of the F1 world. I would use those to have some sort of distraction (sometimes, in the real world, they drive the Safety Cars and Medical Cars just for the show, it's cool!). Nothing much to do with them overall, but they're F1! :)
Because it wouldn't be new for F1 24 then would it. they have to hold certain things back each year so that it can be used for the following year that's just the way it is.
nah not really. You clearly didn’t played many f1 games saying it could become the best f1 game by only adding classic cars. You should have some standards bro. I won’t buy this game it’s 2023 v2 and adding classic cars won’t change much.

Oh wow. They decided to use F1 22 Gameplay 🤓
please change online multiplayer lobbys, its always 5 times waiting for everyone to synchronize and connect from lobby till race start and in lobby the timer resets everytime as soon as one player joins or leaves the lobby is crazy. it takes up to 15 minutes to START a 5 lap race and this repeats itself. in 1 hour your driving maybe 3 5laps races is wild.
70 dollars for engine braking dlc is kinda crazy
They're using creators who consistently get 100s of views to promote this game, this fills me with confidence and not at all like they signed an NDA to be nothing but positive.
F1 2023 and f1 2024 is like redbull livery nothing changed
Alpine livery story:
2021 - The beginning
2022 - 2021 with BWT as sponsors.
2023 - 2021 3.0
2024 - Overheated.

Back classic cars!!!
and classic tracks
@nienaltv2737 bruh begging for classic tracks yet you dont even know about what things need to be able to be done for them. the first major thing is liscensing issues lmao. you haven't the first clue how things work.
there obviously not coming back bro

Realistic damage like F1 06

So much yapping, when every single physics/handling mechanic change mentioned in the video just sounds like how it also works in previous F1 games.
4:32 what happened with the lighting
Wow things that could’ve been added in previous f1 games
Big Shame Monza, Interlagos haven't been updated kerbs, etc.
Add Vettel and Raikkonen in the legendary icons please I want to race them. Also add Hockenheim, Turkey, Fuji Speedway
That’s definitely not happening already confirmed.
Track licensing has to be approved by Liberty and the FOM, we are lucky to get MyTeam, Portimao, Paul Riccard and the Icons.
Liberty and FOM don't like anything that's not part of the official season.
CLASSIC TRACKS!!!!! F1 2013 had it, no excuse
You're not going to trick me again
I'll be sticking with F1 2019 thanks.
Helmet customization with a community tab for all costume helmets
DLC’s for livery’s and old tracks since yall love micro transactions
This looks great, but I choose to play F12020.
I’d rather play f1 2019 for career mode🤩
@@Bwoahguette Why? how's the 2019 career mode better?
@@Bwoahguette f1 2020 has both normal and my team there is literally no reason to go back to 2019 over 2020 than nostalgia
@@penapvp2230 Yeah but driver career mode is so much better. You have the contract bonuses, a small story line and we can’t forget hockenheim.
@@beardedlonewolf7695 You have the contract bonuses like faster pitstops and r&d related stuff and a small story line, which you don’t get in f1 2020

Won’t happen especially custom livery
Honestly they should start making a decent game and then update it every year FOR FREE
You won't get my 100$ until you add classic cars and events back to the game. Now am going back to play f1 2018.
Best f1 game hands down
I’m quite happy playing f1 2020 tbh.
Wtf the ground is perfect?! No purposing? Assetto corsa mods still 100th times better
They should make an unique platform called "F1" and only charge us for DLCs that includes every new season grid. They aren't working on any engine update or at least the visual upgrades are minimal (Btw the RB20 and the SF24 should not reflect the light the same way as other cars because both cars painting are matte)... Tyre model, aero model, among others, are things that can be included on any patch (like any other sim) and they would have a bigger audience by making their player's money worth a little bit more.
they could literally give us a 1gb patch for 2023 with everything in this video........
but then they won't get your $70 why would they do such a thing
Upshifting while in 8th gear should cause the driver to remove a tear-off for added cool realism
Or you can just bind a button for it like in iracing. Makes no sense to remove a tear-off when shifting to 8th gear. Not realistic at all...
Happy that ERS modes are back can finally use none again
I'd like to see future versions of F1 include the following:
* Career mode: more than 2 players in career mode.
1:07 car becomes a boat on the waves of the sea xddd
So basically we are spending 90 dollars for more realism...
Basically like f1 18 19 21 22 23 😂
I hate they're adding more simulation to the handling only bit by bit. It's not hard to create a better simulation than AC or automobilista with such capital
¿Are you seriously selling the liveries separately?
This level of improvement should be free upgrade
In career mode, I always wish the design of the driver's helmet was more elaborate. For example, in 2010, each team had a visor sticker for that team. I wonder why the sponsor name is not reflected in career mode like in my team mode. I always think that if it was just a repainting of the title and the machine's color scheme every year, it could be sold at the same time as the opening.
I don't know what you CAN do in F1-games, but it should be like what was in the career-mode of the first "GRID", except more customizable like placing stuff manually and such. - I really liked that in that game, which made a car and team feel a bit more "yours".
Amazing how our graphics expectations change. It looks really cartoony now for some reason.
But there are so much great mods looking super realistic, why not work with them and implement?
"Dirt Rally" from 2015 looks better and sometimes comes off like a real image. It's an issue with the F1-franchise.
That has been a mind boguling thing that i refuse to get why its not a thing in 2024. Its such laziness
Great post! Seems most people complaining don't care much about the feeling of the car.
finally someone that actually has knowledge. all these DTS casuals in the comments removed my braincells.
It's so stupid because I don't know a single person who used classic cars when it was around and now people are crying, saying they want it back.
we need realistic tyre contact physic
Why wasn't any of this in F1 23??
Because it wouldn't be new for F1 24 then would it. they have to hold certain things back each year so that it can be used for the following year that's just the way it is.
so ers deploy change is back but whats with fuel mix?? why not both??
The camera at 1:37 gives me F1 2014 flashbacks lol
1:04 is that helmet editor ? Zoom on the helmet thats not a max or checo one
Bring back classic cars please
Then this might potentially become the best f1 game
they will never top f1 2020
nah not really. You clearly didn’t played many f1 games saying it could become the best f1 game by only adding classic cars. You should have some standards bro. I won’t buy this game it’s 2023 v2 and adding classic cars won’t change much.
No it won't, classic cars were pointless outside of looking at them
Physics are the most important...
Couldn’t care less about classic cars, I never bothered with them in past games. I’d rather CM spend the development time on more important things. My guess is they were a niche mode played by very few and that is why they were dumped. I buy the game to play the latest cars, not cars from the past.
I've bought F1 2020 3 days ago and i have no intention what so ever to buy the 24 game.
Maybe iRacing spoiled me, but just driving off line on the straights to cool the tires still isn't that great for rain physics. Needs to be grippier off the normal, rubbered in, line.
Oh thank goodness they are getting feedback from youtubers, and not actual F1 drivers...
Have we added a story to the career mode instead of having a separate one like breaking point
No. There are just objectives and a more intricate reputation and contract system.
Hopefully it's longer than 10 years
Why would you want that?
I also noticed that they were all seen playing with a wheel when hyping the handling... Knowing that most players will play it with a controller 🤦
