So far I’ve liked Resident Evil 8 and Nier: Replicant more. Returnal was fun but I don’t think it’s game of the year for me. Ratchet and clank coming soon and Horizon 2 could still be this year (but probably not)
This boss kinda disappointed me. It was because I was way over prepared. I was provided a full heal, had a heal consumable and an astronaut. I didnt even get hit to use my consumable.
Game came out on PC. Same experience for me. My hp was maxed at 200%, 2 small heals ready, astronaut, and reconstructor in case I somehow choked hard. I only got hit 3 times during the final phase since it was almost impossible to dodge all of that. Fight was over in 3 minutes. It's the prep work that was harder leading to the boss that is harder. Finally clicked for me and I went from biome 5 and 6 entirely without dying. Best game in years Edit: forgot but the final boss gives you 2 large heals if you meele the sticks on the sides of the stage as well so yeah, final boss is a joke

This ending you watching is the bad ending in which you don’t find the car keys. You fight this alien monster and remain in the loop. If you find the car keys during visiting the house sequence you save yourself because Selene is the astronaut her mother avoided creating the crash. When you rescue yourself. You fight your mother. And save yourself ending the loop.
Took me right about 25 hours. Really depends on your skill though, this is a tough ass game. I don't mean to brag but I'm better than most and this fucking game was punishing as hell.

8 hours for me 1 playthrought, 4 hours doing it again on ng+ if you master the combat then its breeze
