I would recommend that after detaching the negative connection from the battery you actually separate the lead from the battery or you have achieved nothing. Here you can see lead is still resting o battery connection. I usually place a square inch of insulation tape on battery negative connection so it cannot be shorted by accident.
Hi , Why do the ezcan wires or channels have three-pin connectors please ? Does this mean that we cannot install additional lights that have two pins (+ and -) ? Thanks
If memory serves the 3rd wire is for a light or something that you can have a variable control. Yes you can just use the Plus and Negative to have something just "on". That is how all my accys are wired. Check out the link to the manual. www.hexezcan.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/ezCAN-User-Manual-V1_2-v2009-release.pdf
i would recommend not to put it so close the IMU !! The IMU is respnsible for the correct positioning of the front light and, much more, for the overall gyro-measuring for the ride-modes as well for ABS
Thanks for the video, installing this today on my 2023GS.
Good luck! Hope the video helps
@@PatsAdventuresTravels It did! Pretty easy install for sure. I need to buy an aux brake light now. :-)

So far no issues. Had it in the exact same spot on my 2019gsa. But thanks for the info!
