He is 65 years old during this lift. He set records in the 500’s in his 70’s. It actually makes sense because we really start to decline in our 70’s but can retain a lot of strength in our 60’s.

If you started late in life or never pushed it until now, you never really reached your peak. You might be the strongest now but could have been way stronger in your 30s. I started lifting at 15. My peak was 26-38.
