I almost shattered the house record at Babylon a few years back I went 290 300 on pace for 290 again in the last game going into the tenth first shot stone 8 for 269, 859 series should’ve been 880 though
Pretty sure left lane was Shark and right lane was Viper, so they had to play them different. I seem to recall Jason was trying reactive in an earlier match(es) and couldn't stay out of trouble, so he just started piping the plastic.
Yep, he did just that on Viper (right lane), the shorter pattern, to attack the pocket in a relatively straight manner (without the risk of the ball overhooking). His power and revs back then were probably more than enough to pull that off with a plastic ball. He also did the same thing on 2015 PBA King of the Swing, although I think he lost to Ronnie Russell on that one
and what a first title it was. beat his two best friends on dual oil patterns throwing reactive on one lane and plastic on the other. still sad we didn't get to see the two highest rev rates ever in a head to head match.
And so… a legendary Career began.
I was in the stands in person for this, at AMF Babylon Bowl.
I was his spare ball.....it was a great show!!!

Mike fagan was so awesome. I enjoyed watching him so much when I was younger.
Great throwback
Does a 3 minute video really need to show the end in the intro?
Jason belmonte is the best ten pin bowler of orange new south Wales Australia here
Mike looked SOOOO pissed that he just got beat by a rookie who bowls like no one's ever seen
Was he throwing his spare ball on strike shots??
