Rest in Peace to Steve Harwell of Smash Mouth. He definitely rocked the ending of this movie and it truly displayed an act of random kindness as the Rat Race decided to give it to charity

This whole movie and especially the ending was basically the encapsulation of everything that was great about the mid-90s to early 2000s culture. What a world, it is sorely missed! By the way, an interesting tidbit: this movie is somewhat of a cult classic, not due to the movie itself, but it released to theaters a few weeks before 9/11, and well.. that is when everything changed. This movie is remake of the movie "This mad mad mad world" made in the 70s years. You can watch it. It's about 7 persons who find a card which lead to a bag with money buried by a mobster in the Nevada dessert, near to Las Vegas. The movie is as much funny as this one. 🤣🤣🤣

Its not just Sinclair matching the total donations. Its EVERY wealthy person that showed up to that concert that's going to have to pay. Which is fitting considering this is insult to injury from the fact that they ALL lost the bet when the group let the money go to charity instead of keeping it.
He said, "They are going to match what you donate." Does it mean the whole group of about 20 gamblers will split the donation match (and donate a million each), or each one will match the whole proceeds?
Maybe I'm a selfish bastard, but I'm on Seth Green's side about keeping the money. Especially considering how much they actually went through just to get it.🤷♂
A recent history reminded me this. A man wanted to donate 1.5k but accidentally donated 15k, and he couldn't cancel it for two days. Meanwhile, the hungry children in the community that the NGO was going to help started to send him messages of love and gratitude. I wouldn't have had the guts to cancel it. He managed to turn the situation. He cancelled the 15k, but organized an event that went viral because of his story, and they ended up gathering much more than 15k, so at the end everyone was happy.
