I saw the movie ages ago and you bring the suspense and the entanglement of emotions more to life. Is the charcoal at the end yours? I'm getting the impression it's various stages of your but, lol, did you say the ending of the book was rushed. Perhaps LOLOLOL the ending of this book review was too 🤣But it was a very alluring book. Usually if I watch a movie first, I don't like to plunge into the book because I like to imagine my own scenarios, but I'll definitely reconsider that "rule" this time as I like your taste in books!! 🤗🤗🤩🤩

Thank you again Cheryl for such positive comments. The drawing is mine which I did as a present for my father a few years ago. It was done in graphite and took me about 3 months to complete. I’ve actually never seen the film so don’t know how closely they stuck to the book. I loved the tension and atmosphere in the book so it did deserve a re read. Art hugs 🤗📚🎨😊
