Is the track absent from their other albums because it's b-side, or is it because of the film it's attached to? Wasn't Philadelphia absent from all of Bruce Springsteen's regular albums until several year's later? I know it included as part of the Philadelphia soundtrack, but it was not his usual genre,
To me, Mac and Me movie wasn't too bad. Yes, it may have been a box office bomb, but I imagine movies stars still get residual checks for airings on local TV stations, cable/satellite channels, and streaming/on-demand services. Soundtrack was good. Movies and TV shows with friendly aliens (like E.T., ALF, and MAC) is something we don't often find, as these kind of characters have the ability to speak to their audience. Jade Calegory had/has potential to have a good movie and TV career... I'd be interested in hearing him do voice-over work or seeing him land acting role on one of the daytime soaps (maybe reprising a role he did for a short time on General Hospital).
