This was such a fantastic movie. I loved when this song was played in the movie when Lydia(Meg Ryan) and the Cowboy were dancing to it in the club. They sure don't make movies like this anymore.
I'm almost 42, born in 1980, this was my fave movie as a child and I am watching it tonight again! the disco scene made me wanna find out who sung such an awesome tune and made me wanna wear a rah rah skirt and go partying with crimped hair and lots of lipstick in that very club with the strobe lights, what a vibe!
I'm over 42...I've danced like the cowboy before. That gets the attention of the ladies, I don't mind telling you. No need to discuss the type of attention at this juncture....
Was one of my favorite movies as well. Actually saw it in theaters when I was 6 with a friend. Harry and The Hendersons was out of the theaters, so we saw Innerspace on a Saturday Morning at around 11. I remember it clearly even though it was almost 40 years ago....
Still after 30+ years this is still one of my favorite songs of all time. Has anyone noticed how sick the bass feature is right before the purely 80's sax solo?
Oh gosh i think i might cry, i've been haunted by that song when Meg Ryan was dancing with the Cowbow at the club i can't describe the feeling i have right now thanks for the share
Thumbs up if you watched this film in 1987, like me. I was so impressive with the soundtrack by Goldsmith, the visuals by IL&M, the songs, characters, specially Meg Ryan and Wendy Schaal!
This is well edited and well put together.. Well done! But... Isn't there a twist at the end where Jack drives off but unbeknown to him one of the miniaturised villains is in the boot of the car?
I have tried that before and it says "Adobe Flash Player is needed". I was able to get it when I had access to WIFI. I played the video on the wireless devise and recorded it to my computer using an audio transfer cable.
G Mc If you want to go relatively “old school,” you can get the CD from Amazon and upload it into your computer or whatever from that. Costs a little, but this song is on it!
It's not even listed on the official soundtrack for the movie. Nor is it on iTunes or band camp under either Jerry Goldsmith or Narada Michael Walden. Totally stumped RN.
cheesy ass 80's songs really do just make you feel good (lol) the song from MANNEQUIN (nothings gonna stop us now) by JEFFERSON STARSHIP I think is another one & TWINS movie had some also & im a 29 year old white heterosexual male who mostly listens to underground hip hop but stuff like this & 80's new wave I like also but I gotta listen to it incognito so I dont get clowned (lol)
That’s nothing to be embarrassed about. The 80s had the best shit ever. I was so lucky to be able to experience it. Life will never be that good ever again.
there are some heavy drum fills at the end of this song ... awesome ... innerspace was on the other night and the dancing scene is the best "but chu know dat"
This song is just awesome, and the moovie is "chef d'œuvre "!!! Everything thing are so good, actors, scénario. Great job for the uploader, we can see every monumentales scenes!!! Thanks !!! A little bit slower than in the moovie on the dance hall, i think they speed the song for the cowboy and Meg dance 😉
muy buena pelicula realmente es genial ademas envejecio muy bien, te agradesco mucho que allas puesto la cancion te dejo muchos saludos desde carlos casares buenos aires argentina
You all want to know what sucks about this movie? Nothing...the movie is just awesome.
i agree i love this movie
No sequel..
@@helainaharding2470 that's a good thing as they'd just ruin it, plus Meg Ryan has been at the plastic surgery and she didn't need it
There's just something about bouncy feel-good '80s songs that you just don't find now, and this is a prime example! :)
This was such a fantastic movie. I loved when this song was played in the movie when Lydia(Meg Ryan) and the Cowboy were dancing to it in the club. They sure don't make movies like this anymore.
Listening in 2022, great song and movie! 80's movies are the best!!
Still listening in 2024!!
Play with it pal, don’t talk to it.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ YES!! 1980 ⚡️⚡️⚡️
80s are beautiful.
UTubeAngelique I miss the 80's so much!
I was born in the 80’s today is my 35th birthday
Underrated classic no doubt! Reminds me of my child hood
Innerspace is a fantastic movie but gets so little love in the 80s nostalgia tripping nowadays. It is incredible.
So I've danced like the cowboy at many a public celebration...that is how you bring back the 80s!
Aah, the 80s seemed such a wondrous place.
It had its moments.
Seemed? It was
I was a teen during the 80s and it was wondrous.
It was every bit as good as it looked, I promise you. Feel so lucky to have grown up in the best decade of all time. Genuinely.
Life will never be like the 80s ever again. If you experienced it you’d understand. Best time ever!!!!
Ah, nostalgia. I never expected to find this here. Great upload.
All hail the '80s
The greatest decade!!
Still after 30+ years this is still one of my favorite songs of all time. Has anyone noticed how sick the bass feature is right before the purely 80's sax solo?
You did a terrific job with this video! Very creative, and the scenes fit the song wonderfully!
Listening in 2018. I remember seeing this in the theater in Torrance, CA in 1987.
Why are these 80s songs so hard to find? So many 80s movies have great music nowhere to be found. Best era ever.
Songs included in Innerspace are amazing, but the score by Jerry Goldsmith IS the mostest! Both (songs and score) are amazing!
Meg Ryan in this film is phenomenal
gotta love youtube, the only place to find such obscure tracks, i've only been after this since i saw Innerspace at the cinema when i was about 10!
IM POSSESSED!
This was absolutely fantastic. A wonderfully fitting tribute to such an underrated film. Well done!
"Who's the Cowboy?"
"It's... classified."
It’s the Emergency Medical Hologram
The Tuck Pendleton Machine Zero Defects
Such a fun 80's movie.
Life hasn’t been the same since the 80s. Best decade ever.
This movie actually does a great job at capturing the vibe of Silicon Valley in the 80s. And hell, even a touch of it now.
If I get down in the dumps this track lifts me through the roof.
I can't belive this song is not on Spotify.....
Andrea Forcella Man, it’s not just me!!!
Yeah, I've tried to look for this as well.
And it's still not there! 😢
Meg Ryan is so freaking hot in this movie.
Nothing can compare to the 80s movies and music combos like this epic from Spielberg. NOTHING.
omg such a great song and great underrated movie
big jack!,don't knock just come!
Omg love this 😂😂😂🥰🥰
My favorite part of this movie! 😆
meg ryan was so hot in this film

paisteformula6021 Yep
An awesome sequel that never happened
Yes, in the trunk of the limo. Margaret and Victor, with the Cowboy at the wheel. I fricken LOVE THIS MOVIE!!
I'd love to hear this song used in a film again, just as a sly reference to this great film.
GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!
Listen Sweetie I Don't Carry That Kind Of Cash Around With Me
For the love of God why can't I find this song on Spotify or iTunes??
Demi Lee I wish it was on Spotify too GRRRR!
very nice song and quality
Love this song, but can’t find it anywhere on Spotify:(
Leo Pulvirenti Same problem-drives me NUTS!
Been looking for years for this song, good 80’s tune, inner space classic.
Great song to dance to, wish I could find a copy of it.
I have tried that before and it says "Adobe Flash Player is needed". I was able to get it when I had access to WIFI. I played the video on the wireless devise and recorded it to my computer using an audio transfer cable.
Is there anywhere to buy this track legally to get a good quality copy ? Cant seem to find it !
G Mc If you want to go relatively “old school,” you can get the CD from Amazon and upload it into your computer or whatever from that. Costs a little, but this song is on it!
@@dragondancer1814 which CD is it dude?
G Mc The soundtrack from the movie, you can find the CD on Amazon. I just looked today (well, technically yesterday now) and saw it there.
This movie still makes me laugh....Love this song....

DAMN!!! Just wanna dance this song with a young Meg Ryan!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great edit.
what an awesome song and movie!
narada michael walden is an absolute american treasure
Was this track only ever released on the movie soundtrack? It doesn't seem to be available anywhere. What a waste of a great tune!
Can't find this song ANYWHERE!!! Not on Itunes. Not on Amazon. What's up???
SAMEEEEEEE! I collect a ton of music and am used to digging super deep to find something I want. No luck over here yet. :/
It's not even listed on the official soundtrack for the movie. Nor is it on iTunes or band camp under either Jerry Goldsmith or Narada Michael Walden. Totally stumped RN.
I take that back. It's listed on the vinyl soundtrack, not the digital version though for some reason.

Lionel Richie was supposed to sing in this Trac,,,,
makes me wish i was dennis quaid busting a move on meg ryan back in 1987
Good job!
"Shotcher TV out, huh? Hehe, just like Elvis!"
Ha ha, but it's 'I make love with my boots on', it would be weird if he wanted to make love with his boots!
Can’t find the song or soundtrack anywhere!
My favorite part is when the bad guys get shrunk and use the pay phone. That still makes me laugh.
I love this film and of may favorit music actors to everything and perfect lilian brasil.
3:52 A person is a person no matter how small
When his face changes!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Anyone else still love this film?

Wow, now I don't need to watch the movie...
Yes
science has not improved since those days
Best intro EVER 😇
Thanks for this.
there are some heavy drum fills at the end of this song ... awesome ... innerspace was on the other night and the dancing scene is the best "but chu know dat"
Naranda loves kick drum fills, he has a unique style, you can hear it in Gladys Knights Licence to kill, which he also arranged.
@@TV-FilmCameramanUK ty. I also suggest him playing with Jeff Beck if you haven’t seen any videos. Just awesome.
Cool song.
awesome film, awesome tune. good work

80s music kicks arse man. It will never be beaten 🥳 born in 88 so sadly I didn’t live through the 80’s but I love the music always listen to it 😃
you're French, that's okay then, because my French sucks.

When Things Are At Their Darkest Pal It's A Brave Man That Can Kick Back and Party
This is one movie where I believe a sequel is in order...looking at you Hollywood!
Yes, it's so charming, but I can't find its lyrics either. Does anyone know where to find?
jack instead of becoming the cowboy became McGyver...
narada michael walden is just the drummer, i want to know who the singer was.
I love this flim it so good it funny, its charming and its got great music! Not to mention the actors are so good.
You know it is called the music that plays when the hero kisses the girl at home?
