I loved watching this! How much should one budget these days for film, processing and scanning for a film of your length?

All in all the price of the film + processing + scanning of 1 roll (which is how much I used for this video) costs about 130$.

Gorgeous shots. Did you partially close the shutter to get a sharper image or is it wide open?

Thanks! Sort of depends on the shot, but generally if it is a sunny/daytime scene then I had the shutter closed up around F11 or F16. For all the darker/night/sunset it was proabbly around F2

Thank you! I got it on the zoom lens, using a close focus diopter to get closer than the lens would have natively allowed me to focus.

What diopter did you use mate?

@@spaceyaliens I used a Vivitar +2 strength diopter. I’d recommend getting one of their full sets which comes with +1, +2, +4 and +10 strength factors. They are very affordable on B&H, around 10-15 USD for the whole pack depending on the thread size you get.

Hey! Thanks for the comment! For that shot I suspended a clear plastic container/bin between two chairs in my living room. I rigged the tripod sideways underneath it between the two chairs and laid down to roll the camera. I filled the bin with water and had my actress bend over the bin and put her face in.
