So, I just rediscovered this ship after like a year and a half and in like a day I have watched all of the fan edits of them and basically every episode of the show because how could one not with this power couple. Seriously, I love Noah's rendition of this song and I melt every time I hear him sing it, the scene where David lip syncs to it and dances is a whole other feelings rollercoaster and just seeing how beautiful they are together gets me all excited. Like I said I've watched every fan edit of these two multiple times and I think I've watched this one about five times by now because it just melts my heart, every single time and the quotes, oh the quotes make my feelings rush! Honestly, I love this so much and thank you for making such a gorgeous edit that I will probably never get tired of watching until the end of time.

I adore this video. Been watching it again and again. I also saw an interview of Noah talking about a Hamlet role he had played in 2018ish. They showed a brief clip of it during the interview. Wow! This young man is an incredible actor! I mean, I knew that from his Patrick role, but honestly I think he has chemistry with anyone he is acting with! Awesome! But, I have to admit that I love the love between him and David "...better than anyone...!"

When people write LGBTQ characters a lot of the time I feel that they are censored; they hug instead of kiss or have the exact same storylines in 10 different shows. People stick a Band-Aid on the topic to have diversity in their show, like a participation trophy on the shelf. It means nothing. But Schiit's Creek was different. They showed the embarrassing and little moments - the non perfect moments. The petty fights and still remembering the others drink orders despite being mad at each other. These characters where written like they were human beings. Something I didn't think had to be said of LGBTQ characters. I didn't realize how much it was needed until I watched this show and it actually made me cry.

Do you think it could be because they were created and written by an LGBT person, while in many shows LGBT characters are created and written by straight people, who give me the impression that, as you said, they do it for the diversity quota more than anything else and in writing those characters often fail to understand that we are people like everyone else first and foremost and should be represented as such.

Shows have LGBTQ people just to have them, or once they get someone LGBTQ that's it; they are a supporting character who gets no real storyline. But Schitts Creek wrote Patrick and David like they would any other straight couple and it shows. I love that they show the fights and the frustrations. Like even when they are mad, one pushes the others button - that's real life. No one is going to say the right thing 100% of the time.

Can a Canadian explain what happened here? Did David buy a house for them? I simply cannot wait until this season is on Netflix to find out! Please tell me!!

So in short, Patrick wanted to buy the house you've seen 'cause David said he liked it but he ended up not telling him about it because David didn't want to stay in Schitt's Creek, but David finds out and in the end he chooses to stay and surprises Patrick by basically buying the house.
