Is it worth it to replace springs to get lower. Will that void warranty. Will BMW red flag any exhaust or suspension mods other than their M performance line?
I agree with you on the unsightly muffler & there’s an easy + cheap fix. High-Temp spray paint (aka BBQ paint) . I painted the muffler on the 2nd day of ownership; same as my lifted Jeep Wrangler, because the muffler is visible & started getting discolored.
Well delivered, good review :) but a few corrections and observations: 1) you don't need to see COMPETITION at the back to know it's the new one, because this has black rear badging instead of chrome; 2) black is the theme of this update, like on the exhaust tips and grille plus side badging (previously chromw); 3) the instrument dials are NOT digital, it's only the bottom right corner that is; 4) iDrive 6 isn't slow; 5) the blank centre tunnel button is for adaptive dampers now fitted to the CS; 6) stitching is available in orange or blue; 7) you mention the M mirrors but not the M seatbelts!; 8) the DCT has a learning function so any sluggish upshift was probably due to sensing and adapting to a different driving style; 9) you could have mentioned the rear split fold seat and shown the trunk; 10) carbon brakes were never an M2 Competition option... it's only now, 2 years later, that the CS offers (with gold calipers; otherwise with its equally standard steel brakes have red calipers instead of silver); 11) no S55 engine and carbon strut showed?!; 12) the music at the end is odd and overlaps too much. Keep up the good work!
Interior noise is actually good. When your on the highway and in top gear, it seemed like the exhaust baffles close, so its pretty quiet. Also, I wasn't able to go for a long trip, so I cant comment on long term seat comfort, but, overall the seats are comfortable for the short drives I had. Nope.. M2 cp is the dreamwish of e46 m3.. Same size but turbo🤣🤣 back the it was like it would never happened.. It did tho👍 all old m3 was suffering of low torque.. Problem solved

Dash has analog hands. But it’s backlit. The number are also physically written onto the dash. But the numbers are backlit too.

Your review is a bit bias. The M2 N55 review has demonstrates the sound is moderately better and more closure to the E46 M3.

It is not comfy, its a hard ride. After an hour or so on the interstate, its not sa good I get squirmy. Its not too loud inside though...
Ive done a bunch of trips in mine, its not the worst thing, but its far far from the best.

Dead quiet compared to my Jeep Wrangler, but the ride is stiff. There’s no suspension setting like on some other BMW & Mercedes models.
