When one disassociates the connect between the Notification (of Sceduled Castes and Tribes) and the Reservations, I have this Q in my mind.
If not for the purpose of continuation of Reservations, where was the need for Notifying specific Castes/Tribes under the relevant Schedule?
There exists no relevance of a Notification being issued in the absence of Reservations.
Let there be an exhaustive and honest deliberation on the whole issue of Reservations, considering the level of cosmopolitization that happened in our society with the passage of three generations in these seven and odd decades since independence; and the paradigm shift we witness now in the financial and social status of the different strata of our society
to determine the need of further Reservations.
The only reason I see in the extension of Reservations every ten years by our politicians of all parties is to keep the society segmented and people divided and fragmented only for their selfish electoral gains.
Reservations now appear to serve the negative purpose of "retaining" the caste-divide and the mutual distrust, hate and all other ills thereof.
This is really bad for us as a society and a nation.
Reservation had good intentions but if we really observe it has still not been successful in benefitting those who were really in its need and there are many getting its benefits unnecessarily , they are simply capable doing most of the things economically. I am not a law student but one question i always had is why our policies tend to be so much community centric caste or religious in approach , i mean even those who are flag bearers of secularism don't find any problem in bashing one community for caste want it to remain divided but they get offended when when same logic divisive politics is applied on them .
Factors which decides one's deprivation must be secular like poverty , access to quality education , but here focus is only on dividing society for their politics. There parties want to extend the reservation but has there been quality assessment of this approach since independence?

The advocates who are charging 1.25 crores for appearance is singing the tune of socialism and equality. You have a right to collect the service charge according to law but not as you like.

Was it not the duty of the then government to bring the downtrodden to move up. If after 75 years of independence and those who born in independent india are still being suffering and the reservation system has not helped the. Dont you think that it is a big failure of the than Congress government who rule continuously for 50 years. Even today you people are not thinking of refinement of the reservation system.
Sibbal is not clear n trying to misinform in the name of justice Chelaiyah. He spoke the word Harijan which can’t be used. He quotes J. Chelaiyah as just Chelaiyah n no judge asked him to use honorific for Ex judge. Judges criticised him but still he says absolutely exactly 😂😂😂
Kapil Sibal voice volume is far more less higher when CJI is arguing with him,it seems to me as if he is intimidating others than CJI !

Sibbal, Singhawi and Prashant Bhushan everywhere doesn't SC has any other lawyer? Or they have control over judges and judiciary. Lakhs of Cases pending and waiting for trial why these judges give such importance to these lawyers over all?

@@krompir4392 That's why these Judges talk about Transparency everywhere but no transparency in Judiciary.. They don't want to come under RTI, They don't want to disclose their assets and they don't want to disclose the minutes and reason to appoint judges via Collegium.. Justice Khanna was 33rd in seniority list but Collegium Superseded 32 Judges and made him The SC judge.. And now we see what's happening

We should do away with reservations of every description and have different law for those who are economically downtrodden and the implementation of such a law should have enough checks and balances to ensure that the benefits reach the right beneficiaries.

Sibal - constitution framer assumed judges will be of highest honour and will be on merit without any individual views. So judiciary is independent. There is abundant example that court fixers runs the court. India knows and thinks Undue advantage from women lawyer taken by senior lawyer on pretext of making her judges.
What's your take on this. You will not talk about it as many advantage sr lawyer has
