I just got my Mrs to watch this with me, she was amazed at your talent as I always am. I love the way you use the knots as hats and beards, they compliment the faces so well! I can't get hold of knots like the ones you have, I have no forests where I live, I live in the UK equivalent to Kansas, just flat farmland, all agricultural, I have to settle for bagged up fire logs, the kind they sell outside of Gas stations ....lol, but I can still use them to practice...wonderful video my friend, big Thank you as always.

Much thanks to you Steve and your Mrs. I can picture maybe a few hedgerows where you live if any exist. There's a few left here in the Mid-west. I myself prefer the Weste rn forests, particularly the pine ones. I'd be happy to send a couple of knots as a token of appreciation for all your support. You can find my email contact on the about page down towards the bottom (it's the proton email address) for sending via post correspondence. All the best!

Hey Paul thanks for the mention. I like the way the beard was natural; his expression sets him off. Nice carving as always, my friend. The sanding tip was a good one kind of like those sanding blocks but cheaper way to make them good tip. I'm working on one the knots you sent me now when I'm done, I'll send you a picture see what you think. Stay safe and warm buddy see you on the next one.

Much thanks, think I prefer pine a bit more honestly. Been checking out this carver who uses a chainsaw for some of his work, his name is Aron Demetz out of Italy.

@@wood-psycheHey, Interesting work, was expecting not to understand a word but he spoke german. Interesting ideas.
my neighbor has a device like the scanner he used to scan that model as well. he scanned my head once and 3d printed a tiny version of my face. pretty cool tech.
Thank you for sharing, i will show this to my neighbor as well when i see him, maybe he can try something like it, he is working on a bigger cnc machine and he just about got it working perfect. it can not do the same as that fancy robot arm but i think he will like this as well.
I think the burned sculptures look really cool too, ive been checking a few other videos of him as well now, thanks again.

Nice work as usual man! Coincidentally I bought one of those older flex shafts today & it’s unused! Found a deal too good to pass up. Got it, a dremel 4300, dremel 395 & a few burr sets for $75. The dremels were barely used. Just cool that I looked up your latest video & you talk about that very flex shaft. Also, thanks for the tip on sanding! Love your work man! Keep putting it out here!

That's pretty cool, both getting the same gear. I have to thank Mike Lafleur for the hook-up. I like those older style flex shafts that are metal. They seem more sturdy, also I like the fact that they are pencil size as well...I grease up the shafts with that thick automotive grease and I've never had a problem doing so as long as I don't over-bend the flex much. All the best to you!

@@wood-psyche cool! What automotive grease do you use? I probably should do the same. & yeah definitely I like the pencil size of it!

@@jesseherrin3253 Multi-purpose Valvolne, usually for stuff like wheel bearings, it’s usually in a 1lb. can. I remove the metal shaft from the flex assembly and coat it pretty good and slide it back into the assembly and you’re good to go.
