One of my homie was deported back to Cambodia from the states. He worked as a driver for a business man. Then was able to save up enough money to open up his own business. Acquiring new skill set that bring values to people will help you with your immediate financial need. Or use your English or driving experience to make money. Keep on pushing brother. The hustle never stop.

Hello Mr. Urban Survivor Guy, U can come back here in USA. IF U Need to! Start going up- North of CA. towards Mount Shasta and find yourself a job and Continue doing your UA-camr. Start being friending the locals, in Mt. Shasta and start showing the "Content of your UA-cam," regarding Mt. Shasta and where to go as a Tourist! The housing there is Cheaper than in Los Angeles. People R more nicer and you can make money Up North by showing "Mother Nature." But start looking for a job there First and then, Do your Content of the "Mother Nature." Instead of U, going to Mexico! Start appreciating America! There's Lots of places U can go Up North of CA. Change your "Content/Presentation." Start asking how they survived and how they cook their food, that is delicious? Good Luck!

Beggars can’t be choosers. You need to have some kind of leverage. I’m much younger than you, but I learned the hard way when I thought I was hot stuff and didn’t have any value to bring to the job world.
At this point, I have better opportunities because I have some kind of value to the market. Work like poop for a few years and made sacrifices, but I knew it was going to pay off when I get to make my off choices. Can’t always get what you want, but we can always have better opportunities.

I don't recommend you become a hairdresser/barber.. Most people who do this for a living who are Khmer in Cambodia earn $2.50 per haircut, before taxes and other expenses..
I think one of the best occupations that i'd look into if I were you would be in Real Estate in Cambodia. By this I mean work as the realtor who helps western people find homes and purchase them, look into this maybe?

Were you able to get a translation of the contract in the deal you did 4 months ago? If not, a free to low cost way can be to use AI where you take a picture and it reads and translates the legalese or writing. Since you're a citizen instead of just being a tourist, I'd seriously look into a lawyer to sue. I know it must be hard not being able to read fluently, but they could help you with that. I'd first go there again to inquire on the status if the title, then if no title produced, tell them you're going to draw up a lawsuit. If no mediation possible, then sue. Surely there is a civil legal structure to work since this sort of thing has been around many years. I guess most people are interested in Thailand being a bit more trendy and developed as it's reported to be really full right now. However visas and time limits are stricter than Cambodia so many of them there now will have to leave in a few months hoping for a business visa to stay long term since most of them don't want to go home. I'm thinking Cambodia will become more popular in the coming years as Thailand fills up with foreigners for it's not so nice when people are struggling to rent rooms and motorbikes. I wish you the best for you deserve a more stable retirement.
