  • Here is Eunice, our Sales & Marketing Coordinator, demounting an 11R22.5 tubeless radial truck tire with our new Blue Cobra. When she is done, she shows how easily and quickly our new Valve Breaker tool can remove valves from wheels. Well done, Eunice!

    For the most part, pretty good tool. Big thing though, is the the seat of the tire was already broken loose. I think the real test is to start from a tire that is already seated on the rim and go from that point. Of course the job is not complete until a new tire is installed back on the rim, seated, inflated and back on the vehicle and rolling down the road.........
    Ps. Thanks for the eye candy !

    When kids Growing up we were taught this is when you had the jacks with the square metal plate and the little flange hook that went into the bumper on the older cars you would line it up along the bead where the rim is at and jack the car up On it using the bottom of the jack on top of the tie bead of the tire busted loose

      on semi tires you can just step on the sidewall of the tire and release the bead. some actually just fall off when deflated. there is no safety bead to snap the tire on or off on any wheel that is 16.5, 17.5, 19.5, 22.5, or 24.5

    Great video. Just a reminder, when prying the bead off the rim, the bead on the other side must be pushed down and into the rim channel to give you slack on the prying side. If you don't do that, you can tear the bead where you are prying it... and that makes the tire "toast". Does that tool break the bead off the rim? Usually breaking the bead off the rim step is much harder than prying the bead off steps.

    • @GunsmokeZ_
      @GunsmokeZ_ Рік тому

      Depends on the tire. Most beads come off easy some will take a bead breaker or two. (Designed like how she knocked the valve stem out) which I’d say isn’t good could possibly damage the rim or bore the hole out larger. We use a wrench specifically designed for that purpose

      im.a truck driver and worked changing tires for a major company that used 22.5 lp,and that stands for low pro if you didn't know.and also 24.5 tires all have beads.

    • @Devolont

    • @consaka1

      Devin Dowless Well you know anyone who is going pop up and show their low IQ by calling people "stupid" probably doesn't have any experience actually removing a tire stuck to a rim with or without a bead.
      Usually tires with a half designation like a 16.5 inch rim are beadless rims with just air pressure holding the tire to the rim Of course time under pressure can cause these to stick pretty hard due to the shallow angle of the locating rim and the rubber forming to the exact shape of the rim permanently.

    • @WillaHerrera

    • @randyc5650
      @randyc5650 6 років тому +2

      Willa, what keeps the tire from slipping past the lips of the rim? If the bead does not seat and you let the air out, the tire just falls away from the rim? Many of us have changed many tires manually and with machines for many years and would like to see a tubeless tire that does not seat and holds air without flying off the rim..

    Haha,this vid should be in the adult comedy section .I think the tyre had been beaten to death with a sledgehammer first.I think they had more trouble trying to make it look like the tyre was on some sort of bead..

    Just amazing how many tools they come up with to remove a valve stem. I just snip and push and there gone.

      How about using a screw driver to push the rubber down all the way around from the outside and prying on the inner part so that you can get it off in one piece to use again or on a different rim?
      Used to do that when I didn't have a big box of new tire valve stems like you rich guys.

    Giant pair of channel locks, and you could break that full-size bead lock, too. Two of these with a hinge point would work, with a touch of redesign. Good video, sharp looking Sales Coordination, too! (are calendars planned in the near future?)
