- Join me on a cooking adventure as I prepare pasta carbonara with bacon. Cooking in a truck is not always easy because I don't have a whole kitchen aid with me. As a female truck driver, I consider very important to eat home cooked meals to stay healthy. I prefer outdoor cooking, to avoid making any lingering smells inside the cabin. But soon the winter is coming and we'll be moving our cooking indoors. So, stay tuned for more truck camping videos! Enjoy! ♥

Hi Princess. every video you make you look younger and full of vitality. but to make your pasta a success you need to boil the water before pouring the pasta into the water it is the rule to cook the pasta well when it starts to boil and reaches a boil you can pour the pasta and let it cook until your pasta becomes soggy

Nice one Timea. Very resourceful. Anyway, even when I cook pasta at home I never use a colander. Just drain it carefully with the lid. I can't be bothered with washing up a colander.
I see you cooked enough for me to share it. Problem is you didn't tell me where to go! Maybe next time...

Greetings from Scotland! Hi Timea! Carbonara!! This is one of my absolute favourite meals ever! Actually the best Carbonara I ever had was in a small café in Kortrijk, Belgium. surprisingly, it was perfect and delicious! In Italy once I asked a waitress which meal she would eat between Bolognese or Carbonara and she thought about it for a minute then said in a very heavy Italian accent "Bolognese isa for every day, but Carbonara....isa special!" I agree with her! 😂 Some people will probably say "Don't use cream, just egg yolks!" but honestly, you are cooking at the side of your truck, so as long as it tastes delicious, who cares! And when you tasted and made the "Mmmmm" sound - that's as good as it gets! 😊 Bellissima! Fresh air cooking always gives me a good appetite. Have a great week Timea! Stay happy and healthy! 🙏🙏😊😊

Exactly, as long as you like what you have prepared/ made it is more than enough. I don't like making smell in the interior of the cabin when I am cooking, so when I can, I cook outside. I wonder if there is some kind of small extractor fan for trucks? That would make inside cooking much better, all the smells and heat/steam could get sucked outside the cab! It should be quite easy to fabricate something which fits in the side window at the top? A small 24volt fan on a board which fits the gap, window goes up to trap it in place, and away you go! It would also be a great thing to extract heat in the hot summer nights when sleeping!

I got the photos from you! I liked the red truck "Timea", but my favorite is "Carlile". I think it's Kenworth. In Europe because of its size it can't drive on the streets. I'd like to drive one someday. Those are the real trucks, oldschool!
