  • Recipe: Creamy Chicken and Potato Skillet with Bacon
    Ingredients:
    6 small potatoes
    2 chicken breasts
    6 rashers of bacon
    1 tsp Sweet paprika
    1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
    1 tsp pepper
    1 tsp oregano
    1 tsp thyme
    1 tsp Cayenne pepper
    1 tsp Chilli
    1 tsp Onion granules
    2 tbsp oil ×2
    200ml double cream
    Grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
    Fresh parsley (for garnish)
    Instructions:
    Prepare Potatoes and Chicken:
    Cut 6 small potatoes into small pieces.
    Season potatoes. Mix well.
    Cut 2 chicken breasts into small pieces.
    Season chicken. Mix well.
    Fry Bacon:
    Fry 6 rashers of bacon until brown and crispy.
    Remove bacon from the pan and cut into small pieces.
    Cook Potatoes:
    In the same pan used for bacon, add 2 tsp oil.
    Add seasoned potatoes and fry on low heat for around 15 minutes, covering with a lid to help cook faster.
    Cook Chicken:
    In another pan, fry seasoned chicken for around 7 minutes on medium-low heat.
    Combine Chicken and Cream:
    Once chicken is cooked, add 200ml double cream to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
    Final Assembly:
    Add the cooked bacon to the chicken and cream mixture. Mix well.
    Place the fried potatoes on top of the chicken mixture.
    Cover with grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella).
    Cover the pan with a lid and let the cheese melt.
    Sprinkle fresh parsley and crispy bacon on top for garnish.
    Tips and Tricks:
    Use small potatoes for faster cooking and better texture.
    Cutting the chicken into small pieces ensures even cooking and allows for better flavor absorption.
    Cooking potatoes on low heat with a lid helps them cook evenly and retain moisture.
    For a richer flavor, use double cream instead of single cream.
