I'm 80, osteoporosis along with osteoarthritis, 2 pinched nerves in back about year and half. My legs especially right llegs hurt, sometimes bad, takes me 2 hour-3 hour in morning to function. Looking for thoughts.
I have weakness in the foot. Tingling on both feet, Painful cramps, pulling, spasms, pain shooting down, Can’t clean my house, cook, walk and I am only 42! I have been dealing with this since 2017. i did injections, physical therapy and I made a Chiropractor rich! Now is really bad. When it first happened I had a 6 pack. I worked out 5 days a week and I worked out until 2 months ago because now I lost strength in the left leg and can’t do nothing. I told my dr that nothing was working and it should been fixed already. I will end up in a wheelchair by 43.
Had spinal fusion surgery on 4 levels and decompression, it has made me 50 percent worse ,now I can't walk and in a wheelchair a lot of the time, on a lot of pain meds and have no power in one of my legs also developed crps on my leg I wish I didn't have the fusion, I am 57 ,prayers go out to all who are in pain and have to go through this
@@johnfallon7206 yeah my doctors are trying to get me to do a spine fusion. I really just , at this point, do not think it is in my best interest. Plus I am not in a financial position to take 6 months off work anyway. Im just doing physical therapy and massages and trying to protect my spine from further injuries.
@@johnfallon7206 wah pole am also totally confused my man has been having walking problems so she's been sent for Decompression and instrumented fusion L3-l5Diagnosis severe spinal stenosis L3/L4 and L4/5 . I don't know what to do am afraid..kindly advice
Had L5 S1 fused and 3 vertabra in my neck fused in 2016 at the age of 55 Now I have severe adjacent disk disease and facet joint issues . I sure wish I would have been able to get multiple opinions but living in Arkansas you are extremely limited cause Baptist Health has bought out all the doctors and surgeons in this state At the age of 63 I've become pretty much a cripple in pain with very limited resources
Is there anyone who came do phase surgery . Entire spine damaged2 surgeries ACDF and Laminectomy l4-5 1994 . Done everything you said many times over 20 yrs . C2 pushed into cord . Low back unbearable . On pain meds 10 yrs . No problems stopping . Va cut meds to nothing .on verge of looking at options to check out and end this 24 hr pain 8 opinions . One neuro surgeon said “I wouldn’t know where to start and I might hurt you ‘ one recent wants 18 thousand. Ash fir PFP prior to surgery . UCLA wants a morphine pump . Too LA surgeon wants more stabilized neck prior to more surgery . VA surgeons say too complicated for them . See my point . Just retired from nursing after 40 yrs due to this inability to move walk or sleep pain
If your a female you need to approach things differently. There are many female illnesses that manifest differently from men . Breast cancer, heart issues etc . I’m in nursing 40 yrs . Get full physical . Don’t assume it’s just your spine

You might just need a good old spinal fusion 😊

I have had a bent spinal cord since and now they say I have beginnings of myelomalacia and moderate to severe spinal stenosis
