PAIN! I have endured the Puke Causing Pain Attacks for 16 years now, and 3 surgeries, with the last laminectomy being over 5 1/2 hrs. first 4 hrs to try to open the canal. Thanks to the last surgeon, I have no more surgery options from butchering L4-S1. Thankfully, the Abbott Spinal Stimulator Implant has remedied my pain, although will not cure the canal closure. I am able to stand 6-8 hr.s now, pain free. I wish my surgeon would have been updated in his practice. Following my surgery; he is no longer in practice.
😂I do not know Dr. tousling, but I am three weeks post op from MILD and it is a god send! I am walking, standing, so much better! I am shocked to see that my muscles need Physical Therapy because of past inactivity! I am looking forward to activities, travel, and walking, living! This procedure is a god send!
@gwe0410 . I was diagnosed with mild to moderate spinal stenosis. I am very happy for you and your progress after getting MILD. I want to know what MILD is?
2nd comment: I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis in my 50s. Had no problems except some numbness in my left thigh; that would subside when kicked, or pulled the knee toward chest. Was a regular jogger & bicycle rider until 2021. Now have some numbness in feet. Can walk well on level ground, but carry a walking stick for when needed. Still walk, do tai chi (not like I used to) have also taken up G’kong. And sit to much. Am 86 now and think I’d be a good candidate for the MILD procedure. (Foot note: All the bad stuff happened a week after my 2nd jab of Covid vaccine)
You are to be commended on the quality of the information on this video. I wish you had been available when I had surgery for spinal stenosis which involved an 8 hour, 14 inch incision after all of the things you have discussed.
Thank you so much Dr. Tousling, I will be having a spinal fusion, I had a lumbar decompression 1 1/2 year's ago the pain never went away completely it's only on the right side of the back, leg, and groin area now the pain is on my buttock. I hope this time the surgery works
I have a disc bulge at L4-5, and mildstenosis at L-3-4 with diffuse bulge at same location ; also moderate stenosis at L4-5 and L5-S1 has diffuse disc bulge but no stenosis. Previous laminectomy at L-5-S-1 in 2000 with great success.I am a healthy 72 year old female. Starting with epidural tomorrow. Kristy Patterson
I really enjoyed watching this informative video I've got this problem. I've had it for awhile I really need to have something done before this gets too much worse
Nice to see you again Dr.Toussi! Knowing my history of back problems, both lumbar an cervical, I'm seriously thinking about making an appt. with you and traveling to Lynchburg to see if the MILD procedure would help me. My neck problems have gotten much worse.
Thank you Dr. Toussi. The MILD procedure sounds very interesting. I am seeing another Dr there at the Lynchburg office and have had two injections; the last one was in January. I believe the Dr.mentioned the next step would be a form of cauterizing some of the nerves in my lower back to relieve the pain and stiffness. I have had problems walking distances, that probably caused some of my weight gain. I also have pain when standing for any extended periods and of course doing any vacuuming . I am wondering if the other Dr. does the MILD treatment because I really need something that is almost permanent. My mom had 3 back surgeries back in the 1960's and 1970's. My Dad had back surgery in the late 1990's. Both my sisters had dual hip replacements in the last 3 years. I feel in someway cursed.
Hej again the best compassionate best Dr.EVER What can I do when I have painful knee ( Arthritis 4) and also lumbar stenoses )some of exercises is not good for knee problems as your recommendation on video about knee problems ( stretching legs and so on ) thankfully for your answer.. 🙏💖🌈💖🙏
I've just been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and I have the usual pain from the buttocks area to my feet. I sometimes get cramps in my legs and sometimes going up the stairs I experience weakness in my knees. I'm currently doing exercises which seems to help with the pains and my back sometimes feel stiff. Unfortunately I can't get to Virginia as I'm living in London. What other things could I do to help me as I was told there is no cure for this disease? Thank you
Dr I have been doing physical therapy for my spinal stenosis but as soon as I am off the table my leg acts up. With burning stiffness and serious numbness which affects my daily walking.
Help! I have been suffering for 10+ years now and 2 back surgeries later I'm so much worse now than I was before 😭 I'm being crushed from my lower back to my feet. Hot burning pain, numbness, tingling and pins and needles. I have had the si joint issues confirmed but the RFA only took the cement out of the back of my legs and butt. My back pain is much worse after the RFA because it released the muscles that were holding my together 😭
Hi there Dr Toussi . I'm 61, suffer with fybromyalgia osteoarthritis in both hips and lumbar spine and have been diagnosed just this week with Spinal Stenosis ! Im wondering if the MILD procedure shall work for me ? I really am in chronic pain ....
Hi I'm Sherry and I'm watching your video because my test results come back I got narrowing of the spine is pushing on my nerve and then bulging disc I'm peeing on myself I can't hardly walk the pain is interfering with my daily life as in cleaning house cooking my both of my legs is numb my right leg I can't put my foot on the. The pain is in my ankle and my heel and my body half the time is my upper part of my body is kind of like bent over because I can't put my back up straight I did the upper Darrel shots for 3 years and it doesn't work and I can some days if I'm on my legs all day then that's all it wrote I can't sleep I'm in and out of the bathtub I take Epsom salt put in my bath water I use a lot muscle rub and do you have any suggestions I can tell my doctor I already told my doctor that I'm losing my urine so I don't know what to do. And my insurance rejected for me to get a CT scan for my upper spine they only got my lower but they want to see my upper so I don't know what to do
My excruciating back pain that travels from the back toward the left femur down to the kneecap is caused by Neurofibromatosis. I have tumors all over my spine they compress organs. I have down a procedure called Laminectomy.
I wish you hadn't added the music. I have spinal stenosis (recently diagnosed) so I want to learn about it, but the unnecessary music irritated my misophonia, so I had to stop watching. I just wanted to listen to the gentleman speaking. :-(
I have looked into spinal stimulation and feel that this minimally invasive procedure offers much more hope for elimination of pain without the side effects of spinal stimulation.

LONG TERM ESI will make your problem worse. Do your research. 99% of people should not have this done !
Doctor. Thank you for that video.
You mentioned alpha lipolic acid as one of the nerve medication.
What is the recommended dosage please
