    You are amazing! I know you can help me so much.
    I get vertigo several times a year. The spinning only lasts about 30 seconds. I do the half somersault maneuver which helps, but then feel dizzy or lightheaded for weeks. Is this normal?

      @treatdizzinessathome2023  3 місяці тому

      Thank you! Feeling lightheaded for weeks is not typically normal. You might benefit from some gaze stability exercises afterwards( I have a playlist) , or you could try a different maneuver. I see a lot of people do they have somersault and sometimes accidentally throw a stone in the horizontal canal. But of course, in person vestibular therapy would help identify exactly if you did the maneuver successfully or if, you have a stone somewhere else, again you could also just need some stability exercises after having the crystals out of place.

    Do vestibular issues ever go away? Mine started a month ago. Attending VT. When can I expect it to resolve so I can get my balance again? I'm in my mid 60s.

      Good question! I think Ill do a video on this. it definitely depends on your original diagnosis. for example, if your dizziness is from the brain from a tumor or stroke for example- it will be harder but can be lessened. If your vestibular issue is from an inner ear that stable like neuritis, yes often times its cureable. If your vestibular issue is from something evolving like menieres disease or endolymphatic hydrops you will have ebbs ad flows and need to have a management plan. Thanks for the question! hopefully that helps clarify. Also check out my advanced vestibular exercises for full recovery here: ua-cam.com/video/5GG5rvnDa3M/v-deo.htmlsi=0-nJEXTBDXoxlB6a

    I have been experiencing dizziness symptoms since a sparring session about 9 months ago, especially when I turn my head quickly or look upwards. I also feel dizzy when I bend forward and then straighten up. After physical exertion, I notice it also affects my eyes. Could the symptoms be muscle-related? What exercises would you recommend?
    Best regards from Germany!

      @@dinammarsamardzic503 hello! Well, depending on what exactly happened in the match it could be a few things and honestly, you should go to your doctor and have them do an evaluation, but it sounds like it could be from the neck and here is a cervical genic dizziness playlist that you could possibly use to see if your symptoms will resolve ua-cam.com/play/PLxFNCwzw2eJ2EW_ZAqbjrFIsqc6A95e2H.html&si=YtwwwBBlXht5Enmf
      However, with the exertion component, could it be a concussion? I did you get hit in the head and possibly suffer a concussion? Things like mental exertion computer screens light my clue you in to the fact that you might be suffering concussion. But again, see doctor in person for a thorough examination to help. You figure out exactly where your symptoms are coming from. 😁 thank you for your comment and best of luck! Let me know if you need anything else.

      Thank you for your quick response! I have seen various doctors and had both a CT scan and an MRI of my head done. Everything is fine. I had received a hard blow to my left cheek back then. Initial symptoms were light sensitivity and difficulty focusing on distant objects. These have disappeared, but the symptoms described above have remained, varying in intensity. Unfortunately, no one has been able to tell me what it might be or what I should work on. Hence my message to you.

      Cervical dizziness won’t show up on testing; it really only respond to treatment. All testing are somewhat unreliable

    Ma'am
    Whenever I drive, I don't feel like moving or I feel like I'm stationary and everything is moving.
    And I feel difficult to predict height or distance
    What might be the reason
    I also feel dizzy in supermarkets

    • @treatdizzinessathome2023
      @treatdizzinessathome2023  2 місяці тому +1

      @@krishnar246 it could be a multitude of reasons, you do need to see a doctor to get a thorough vestibular evaluation to see if the issue is coming from your inner ear, your eyes or your brain. Your brain could just be perceiving space and motion differently than it should which is common in PPPD and vestibular migraines. It could also happen if you have an inner ear weakness and then you become visual dependent, and you feel those same symptoms. It can also happen with binocular dysfunction. all of these things are complete hypotheses, which is why you need to see a doctor and have testing to help you identify the cause of your symptoms and then the treatment would be a lot of the exercises that you see in my playlist or on my channel. Hopefully that information helps you onto a path of finding the source of your symptoms

      @@treatdizzinessathome2023 I consulted with a neurologist...they took many tests including EEG and finally told that the response of my right eye to brain is slower than my left eye.
      I also feel that my neck is weak though the xray says it's normal. Whenever I workout, irrespective of the muscle I'm training, my neck gets strained and I feel sick and dizzy. It takes a couple of hours of stretching and calming down to become normal.

      How long does it Take to refocus? And does it happen during the day? It sounds like everything‘s just really relaxed, but if it can be corrected, there’s not much to worry about there. ☺️
