I'm glad to see Women making videos on tools/equipment that genuinely know what they are talking about. Everyone but specially women everywhere should be proud of you two. I appreciate the very useful information. Awesome job on the real world use of products and I don't know how but you can appreciate the quality that these tools have.
@@SILKYsaw No thank you both for your hard work and dedication, and yes the information in your videos is very helpful to me and i been using this type of equipment for almost half my lifetime, and still learn from your videos so i know that for someone that is a beginner or trying to decide on a purchase can benefit greatly from your videos. Thanks again best wishes all the way from San Diego California
By the way, it is absolutely endearing and adorable how your “mother” her. Not only are the both of you incredibly helpful and informative, you take on a tried and true mentor and mentoree relationship. It is truly heartwarming. I am about to use my Hayate For the first time. I have had several pulsars that are junk by comparison. Thank you again for your wonderful videos and your stellar dispositions
@@SILKYsaw you’re welcome and thank you. Oh yeah I love this thing. And I’m live with it. 🤣 I have owned and have used many pole saws..’There is not even a distant second to these. Especially with the Hayate in particular. I was recently quoted $600.00 US just to remove 2 large branches from one of my large pines. One branch is 22 feet up and the other 26 feet. Guess what? I just saved $600.00. The Hayate easily paid for itself twice in one day. The ease, the speed and the efficiency of this tool is remarkable. Wow! Again, great video you two. Thank you 😊
@@TheGuitarRoom We love how much these saws surprise. Often our customers get a bit disappointed that they didn't get to use it for very long and end up going over to the neighbors and tidying up their trees just so they get to use it for a bit longer 😂We understand your new love! Nita.
@@stevejones6503 They are super sharp aren't they!!! When you use it next, to save the shoulders and weirdly enough cut even faster, just rock from your front foot to your back. Don't pull on it with your shoulders, just let gravity do its thing and the blade will dig into the wood by itself as long as you drag it back by rocking back on your back foot. Like a window cleaner does! I hope that makes sense 😃 Nita.
I have need of a strong pole saw that is about 2m in total length and has a blade about 50cm long. Requirement is for forestry, to wit, track scrub clearing. For horizontal use max 2m and vertical use 2m also. It will sit for weeks at a time exposed in the back of a 4wd utility. Options ?
Hi, thanks for your question. As I mentioned on the phone, I believe the Zubat for Forester would be best, but I would definitely be leaning toward the Zubat. 😃 Nita
These are not just pretty faces these ladies really know this product. This is a good proper review. I have a Fiskars brand pole saw that appears to be a cheap copy of this one they they are selling. The scabbard is a nice touch mine doesn't have that. My locking mechanism and shape of the pole appears to be a direct copy. They gave a good explanation of how it works. I accidentally clicked this video but it was a good video so I watched the whole thing. If mine ends up breaking I will probably order one of these.
Informative and enjoyable video re: the Silky Hayate. Just purchased one from Japan. Wondering if it is possible/recommended to use with "in between" positions with extended pole/poles secured by clamps rather than clamp + button? Thank you. Following my initial purchases, all my neighbors are now Silky saw owners, and the Hayate is taking the place of a chainsaw on a pole. Your video demonstrations helped lead the way. Thank you.
That's great news for you and your neighbors. Silkys are a real to use. You can use the poles mid extension, but it is not as safe as using them with the pin lock and clamp. Also, you will stretch the spacer under the clamp a lot faster by using them this way. Best if possible to use both locking systems. 😃 Nita.
Would this be a good saw for pruning fruit trees? I'm thinking specifically of large apple trees (I'm in Upstate NY). I need a long saw that is heavy duty enough to cut through fairly thick branches. I love my hand Zubat, but not sure the pole saw Zubat will be long enough. It's either the Hayate, Zubat or Long Boy. I can't decide. BTW, I love the channel. Very informative.
Great video very informative. You two are like supermodel arborists. I have one and can say the blade is very sharp and works well. I was wondering do you ship to the States I like to support small businesses.
I bougjt a Hayate (the longest version) 3 years ago. But I'm not sure I've ever used it. This 30-minute tutorial was invaluable. And now I know that 'easy peasy" is not just an Americanism. The only problem is thst now my wife won't let me buy the pole saw attachment for my Milwaukee Quick Lok 18-volt power head!
Hi Paul. Thanks for your comment, we are thrilled that you liked the video! You are missing out though, as those Hayate's are actually a lot of fun to use. Time to find some tall trees to prune 😀 Nita
Hi Akos, I am so glad you looking for this saw. The Silky USA website is www.silkysaws.com/ and they should have this pole available 😃 Let us know if you have any more questions! Thanks, Shenae
Thank you, sorry this one was took so long to put up. We have a new computer and for some reason it took 2 days to upload, crazy! We are going to try a different computer next week.

Bought the Hayauchi 6.1m a few weeks ago - man, it’s amazing…. Am looking at the Hayate 7.7 (8m with blade), just for the extra reach.
Such a handy tool to have in the shed! So glad you love it. 😃
Great tutorial ladies, thanks 😉. Got a busy weekend planned with my new 7.7m Hayate 👍
